use them for alpine climbing and they are pretty dam light for long distance lugging. Wire gates means they dont freeze as other gates do. Dynema strops are solid, and the beaners have nice easy entry noses on them so they run well when clipping or unclipping. Good gear

Not a big fan of BD products, I usually go for Petzl but in this case this quickdraws simply amazed me, clipping them to the bolt is easy and clipping the rope is easier, very light and the colors are nice.

Not a big fan of BD products, I usually go for Petzl but in this case this quickdraws simply amazed me, clipping them to the bolt is easy and clipping the rope is easier, very light and the colors are nice.
I went back and forth on whether to get these or the WC Heliums. They're a bit heavier, but the cost is much lower. The hoodwire is great because you don't have to worry about them snagging on ropes, bolts or other gear. Plus I like orange.
