Good bag for me.I'm not the petitest of female, but would say my hands are average. I got the medium and it's not really a problem to get in and out of, but if you want complete and utter ease, I would suggest the large. Also, I called Moosejaw to order over phone since you can't choose your color options. I was also ordering a harness and just requested if the bag could coordinate (I'm a chick, what can I say....) They sent a lime bag that matched the lime holders on the harness. Not sure if it was on purpose or complete dumb luck coincidence, but I'm happy and appreciate Moosejaw just taking down the request!! Thanks!

Decent bag, look at others firstWhat can you really say about a chalk bag??? This one holds chalk. It works especially well if the bottom of the bag is closer to the ground than the top of the bag. I've had two issues with this bag.<BR><BR>First, the top doesn't close all that well, some bags close tight and you could keep an angry swarm of hornets in the bag with no worries of getting stung, this bag, they'd be stinging you all over before you knew what happened. So, with this bag, if you don't want to get chalk all over everything in your backpack, you'd better make sure you've got another (plastic or ziplog) bag you can put this in.<BR><BR>Second, the draw stopper (little plastic thing which you slide along the draw

Recommend it!I own two of these bags. One is a medium and the other small. Along with the rest of the reviews, I'd suggest going bigger if you have big hands. I use the medium one and don't have too much trouble with it but a large might be a good thing for me. I've used loose chalk and a chalk ball, both have worked just fine. the drawstring goes down tight and keeps the chalk for escaping. It's a chalk bag. And it holds chalk. Can't complain. Comes with a little string for your waste, which I've never used. Just use a small carabiner or other clip to attach it to my harness.

Don't use with loose chalk, decent with chalk sockThis was my first chalk bag, and for a while it did what I needed it to do--hold my chalk sock. But when that ran out and I decided to use free chalk, I began to run into problems. The opening of the bag does not close completely, as in I could easily fit two fingers in the hole when I had closed the bag as tightly as I could. At this point, I bought a Krieg and have been happy since then. ,,,,But despite the hole in the bag, it works fine if you use a chalk sock, and it feels good on your waist. Not bad, but when other bags are similar in price, I'd look elsewhere.

Decent, definitely not amazing. This chalk bag definitely has several main flaws. First, the string that it comes with quickly becomes crusted in chalk and isn't very comfortable. I solved this problem with a piece of webbing and a buckle, although they do sell buckling straps. Also, there's no brush holder, which is only an issue if you need one. Finally, the "strap holder" (what else is it?) is hard to slide a string into (for bouldering), and even harder to slide a carabiner into. Overall, however, if all you want is chalk, and you'll just use a carabiner, then leave it in, it's not a bad buy.

Not sure how long the drawstring will lastLike everyone else said already, it's a chalk bag, not too much going on here. My main concern is that the draw string doesn't cinch closed as easily as I would like, resulting in spilling chalk. You have to yank on it pretty hard, and I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it snaps. ,,,,Also, the hoop for a carabiner is a bit tight when trying to get it on there. Overall though it does its job and price isn't horrible, but if those two things annoy you, look elsewhere.

it's a chalk bagWhat more can I say! It holds chalk well and I think it'd be a safe assumption to say that it would hold anything else that would fit in it. It also has a draw cord to close the bag and prevent chalk from getting everywhere. The bag has the ability to be clipped to a carabiner or hung on a belt. My only complaint is that the bag doesn't auto-close as I always forget to close it and always get chalk over everything.

Good Chalk bag - if your hand fits in, you'll love it.This is a good chalkbag- probably what you'd expect. I wish I'd gotten a wider-opening version though cause my paws are a wee bit big. It still works real well for bouldering tho which is what I use it for. My biggest complaint is among the choice of designs; there were plenty of colors to choose from, and a few designs, but I had my heart set on paisley. I'm upset to say the least, but life goes on.
