"I love this little guy" 06/05/13
I used it on multi-pitch routes, biking, and as an around-the-town bag. It is simple, comfy, light and it seems durable (time will tell). I really have no complaints with this one. It does exactly what it says it does and I want to buy one for everyone in the family.
"Bring it!" 03/07/13
I bought this day pack for an upcoming trip to France, Germany and Austria I was looking for something that wasn't so bulky but built to take a beating and yet hold all the necessities of a days travel. This Bullet Pack is definitely up for the challenge. Pictures to follow.
"Great Leader Pack" 10/11/12
I was looking for a daypack to use on multipitch climbs. After using the REI flash pack, I found that, while I liked the simplicity, it was a little too basic when I had to dig things out of the bottom. The bullet pack has a nice pocket on the front so you can store things that need to be accessed more frequently. Also, the two gear loops are perfect for organizing gear from a hanging belay.
"Becoming a classic" 10/08/12
The bullet pack has been around for some time now, and for good reason. Its ridiculously durable, minimal and great for climbing. The pack rides high and stays secure even with the waistbelt removed. Its great for stashing water, approach shoes, food, jacket and more. Not super light or featured, but that is why this thing is awesome. Ive never worried about it ripping open in a chimney.
"great climbing pack" 06/16/12
The Bullet is great for multi pitch climbing: it's small, light, and doesn't move around too much. Although I bought it as a climbing pack, I'm now also using it for running, or as a hiking pack. I'm always surprised how much stuff goes in there if you pack it well. Still, the picture makes it look bulkier than it is. Definitely my favorite small pack.
"Huge value in a small package" 04/23/12
As many of the other reviewers have noted, this pack is surprisingly roomy despite it's small stature. It is extremely tough and has survived being bashed, dragged, scraped, trampled, run over (it was a long weekend), and chewed on by a four legged friend. If you're looking for something to stow some gear in for a quick trip, or even if you're just heading to the gym, this bag has got you covered.
"small but well made" 02/29/12
Haven't put this to the test yet, but my first impression is that it's pretty small. If that's what you're going for, do it! But, the picture of it makes the size look slightly inflated. Search for some pics elsewhere to get a better idea. (But buy from Moosejaw, cuz they're awesome). In fact, I got this pack with my Reward points. Whoo! Nice simple hydration port. Good placement of chest and hip straps for me (female - about 5'7" and 130). Not going to be able to make this pack very heavy, since it's so small but it seems like it will be very stable for moving around with it on. This thing will be with me for a while.
"Small, great for when you need something SMALL." 12/16/10
Again, this backpack is small and superb if thats what you want. A little too small for me however, but I gave it to my girlfriend and she is in love with it. Also, they went out of their way on this one to include as many features as they could; there are so many in fact, that everybody should be able to find at least a couple of features useful even if they never considered using them.
"Great little pack" 10/20/10
All around a sturdy little pack to carry gear in. The hip strap is just webbing so you won't want to put a lot of weight in it if you plan on using it for day hikes. I keep my indoor climbing gear in one but it would also be great for those spur of the moment hikes.
"All-Around Outrageously Excellent Pack For The Little Day Hikes!" 09/01/09
If you aren't carrying 40 days of food, clothing, and toiletries with you and are having one of those days where you feel like going for a day hike or run but don't want to leave your clif bars, water bottle, or keys at home; THAN THIS IS THE PACK FOR YOU!:)
"Small women beware" 08/18/08
Boys, the claims are all true about this amazing trad pack. All except the guy who fitted his trad rack and his Nalgene inside! So look no farther for a tough, haulable leader's pack that carries everything you need, goes 4 seasons and still looks great. But girls, I do have a caveat for you. It is built for men in the shoulders and in the rise of the sternum strap. If you are a small woman this pack will be too big for you. I am a medium woman with a 16 inch torso and when I've got a full Camelback bladder inside the Bullet, I do have trouble finding gear on the back loops of my harness. And I agree about a lightweight pocket to contain the Camelback bladder.
