"I came here for the winter Fruitcake sale. What the hell is this?"

Oh well, guess I'll share one BD ascension skin tip. The first time I used these skins, my buddy and I were noobs and lazily left them on our skis overnight while camping in a driving ice storm on Mt. Hood. The skis were our tent anchors. We had a pleasant evening playing cards and cracking jokes, and woke to a frozen mess. Removal was epic. I tore the tail clip trying to rip them off while my buddy tried to skid down on them, with little success. Don't be an idiot. Bring fruitcake. Oh yeah the skins worked good, on the way up... Hood.
I've used my BD ascension skins a few times, and have no complaints. They are sticky, and have moderate glide on short downhill sections. Clip system is a little annoying sometimes, but ok when you get the hang of it. I wish the metal tail clip was attached, as I lost one. Overall, would recommend. Trimming to fit is pretty easy, just take your time so you don't make mistakes. You can always trim more off, but can't replace what's already gone!
