"A worthy purchase!" 		          12/21/09
My wife needed a harness upgrade. I didn't mind paying extra to find something that provided comfort and versatility. The Iris offers excellent all-round performance and looks cool as a cucumber (is that the coolest vegetable?). The fully-adjustable leg loops allow her to wear any clothing and still fasten the harness with one hand while unpacking the treats, reading the route description and critiquing my racking method all at the same time! The padding is quality and its shape helps fit the harness above the hips - more comfortable while at all the hanging belays I subject her to. The gear loops hold ample gear and are positioned well within reach (unless you have arms like a kangaroo).

"Good stuff." 		          11/08/08
This is a very good looking, well fitting harness. This is my first harness, and I've climbed in quite a few rented and borrowed harnesses, and none fit me quite like this one. If you're unable to try it on before purchasing make sure to measure your true-waist and compare it to the fitting info. That is what I did, and was perfectly successful. It seems that this harness, being women specific, is made to sit high at the naturally-smaller part of your torso. It fits very comfortably but is quite heavy duty, and feels reliable. The adjustable leg straps are always a plus, and are comfortable when hanging.
