I would recommend the large for sure. It is just big enough, I would imagine the medium is too small. I think most of the bouldering folks would think even the large is too small.

Good chalk bag. Size is a little confusing though. I got a large and when it came it looks more like a medium but was marked as a large so be advised. Other than that, the bag is great. East access for your hands.

This is a great chalk bag the lip hangs lower at the bottom so when you are in those awkward positions it's easy to chalk up. Plus it came with a brush, can't beat that.

"Multi-purpose and AMAZING!" 		          01/19/08
Wow, this thing is great! It holds almost an entire bag of jelly beans, I fit 4 socks in there, and I can use it as a feed bag for my cat, Twinkie. On the weekends, when I take dates to the movies, it also works great for when I've prematurely initiated the hand holding--like when your hands start to get all sweaty and you still have another hour left of the movie. Solution is I just slip my hand over to my hip to chalk up and bam! cool dry hands with amazing grip.
