The Skylight Tent by Black Diamond is a three-person single-walltent with a hybrid EPIC by Nextec/mesh construction and weighing just over four pounds (or just under 2 kg). The rear two-thirds of the tent is constructed from EPIC fabric while the front third of the tent consists of mesh netting. An attached EPIC canopy can be rolled-up in nice weather or rolled down in nasty conditions creating dependable protection and a spacious vestibule.

"great all rounder" 		          08/25/08
This tent is very light for a 3 person tent. Its light cos you don't need to carry a fly, as the tent is two thirds single layer and one third mesh/fly. Its a bit different to most tents as you have to set it up inside the tent. This is cos the poles need to go inside for stability seeing as there is no separate fly. In order to minimise condensation you need to sleep with your heads up the mesh end of the tent, but if you do this it works great!! Its a really roomy tent for 2 people, and great for pretty much any conditions except high altitude mountaineering and really hot/humid.

This is the best tent we have ever owned. It allows you to see the beauty around you when the sun is shining and cover it up when the clouds and rain move in. The wind has a chance to blow throw the screen and keep the tent alot cooler then having solid
