Big enough to be useful, but not to big. Key lock is the only way to go in my opinion, and the screw gate runs smooth even after much use.

You can never have enough locking biners! This one won't snag up on your rope or slings and stays put. Gets the job done and you know with BD's name stamped on it that it will always be there for ya...

"Great Locker!!!" 		          06/22/09
This is my favorite locker, by far! Its locking barrel easily screws open and closed, even one handed, and the keylock gate means that it won't get snagged on the ropes and chords as you're trying to fumble it into the anchor after a long pitch. I am replacing the lockers on my rack with these. One word of caution, these are a little small to allow the munter hitch to do its characteristic 'flip' but they are great for anything and everything else.

This biner is excellent. Smooth operation, and the key-gate is great! Not recommended as a belay biner (you'll want something much larger), but its perfect for any other situation that calls for a locking biner.

This Carabiner is smaller than average. Although it is smaller it still locks really well and is super strong! Great for situations where a smaller carabiner is desired.

"Can't Beat It" 		          09/25/08
I've got about a dozen of these and I love em. from rigging a slackline to a cordalette to the bolt side of my daisy chain I use em for all sorts of things and they work great. I've used Petzl lockers too and there's no significant difference so it's just if you like the color more or you can find a better price on one. I mean a locking carabiner does the job no matter which company makes it so it just depends on what you like
