"Perfect Headlamp" 04/22/10
I love this headlamp. I use it all the time camping, climbing, hiking, reading and for much more. The settings on it are great. I can have it as bright as I need, while still saving the batteries. It is really comfortable on my head and is easily adjusted to fit properly. It is also really lightweight for the brightness it puts off. I also really like the colors! Overall, I think this headlamp is perfect for anyone.
"Brighter than my Petzl." 01/07/10
This girly version is brighter than my Petzl tikka headlamp. But I have an older version of this moxie which only has one setting--bright. No strobe, which I love for hiking at night.Overall, good item for the price. I'm a guy who doesn't care about the girly style on the band--who sees you in the dark anyway?
"It does what it needs to" 10/16/09
I actually bought mine from REI. The guy that showed it to me actually show me the male version and this i guess you would call girl version. The Girl version was actually better and about $8 cheaper. So if you don't mind the flower and the purple go with this. No one can see if at night anyways and if they do tell them your Hawiian. No but seriously the light works great has 3 diff brightness levels and a strobe.
"Looks nice but mediocre performance" 07/09/09
I was seduced by the cheap price and girly graphics on this headlamp but should have known better and stuck with my usual Petzl headlamps. The light is adequate but nowhere near bright enough for mountaineering/rock-climbing approaches/descents in the dark.
"Ideal Headlamp" 08/08/08
For the price this is a perfect head lamp. Nice compact and has a simple 1 button selector. The only complaint is that to switch the brightness you have to push the button down half way, just something you will have to get used to.
