"No words to describe how awesome these are" 08/07/10
I get cold *extremely* easily, and stay cold. Not good when you're in the pow at 140000 feet at the top of Breckenridge, CO. I got sick and tired of my fingers freezing off, so I dropped $80 on these. Best damn piece of cold weather gear I've ever bought. They're *insanely* warm, totally wind/waterproof, etc. Cinches are great for keeping the snow out. They say they don't have a nose wipe, but the soft material on the thumbs work perfectly well for wiping the inevitable snot away. The only complaint I have is that the trigger finger liner mitt seems useless...what's the point of having a liner mitt with a trigger finger when the shell doesn't?
"Simply amazing!" 01/22/10
I bought this on a whim because they didn't have the big-name brand mitts in stock that I really wanted... These actually turned out to be one of my new favorite pieces of gear! First, its pretty amazing to find quality technical mitts for under a $100 with an actual leather palm. The construction on these are nothing short of top-notch. The polartec liners are spectacular, comfortable and toasty warm! I love these mitts!
