"The handle makes it worth it" 		          04/11/08
I bought this for back county skiing, but I keep it in the trunk to dig out my car when I am home. It did work great for that this winter when I found that ditch in the middle of the road. The collapsable handle dosen't get lost in the basement like the removeavles do.

"Perfect backcountry shovel" 		          02/15/07
Light , easy to pack, well designed. The collapsible handle and compact configuration allows it to be stored on the pack in many locations. It deploys quickly with a single button push, and its short & curved handle is great for cramped digging situations like snow caves. The heavy duty aluminum blade makes shoveling in crusty and icy situations ideal.

Light, compact, strong, Oh and did I say what a rich coper color is awsome. The internet does not show off the color well. All and all it a great shovel and I would get the same one again if I had the choice.
