The Chaos Harness by Black Diamond is incredibly supportive and comfortable. Built with a TPU lumbar support, in-molded vents and soft-wicking fabric, the compression-molded, bullhorn-shaped waistbelt provides breathable support. Using a drop-seat, Y-style design with elastic panels, the wider thermoformed leg loops move with you and distribute weight to maintain circulation. The Chaos is equipped with four traditional gear loops and a 15 kN-rated haul loop.

"Comfy and light" 		          02/18/09
Loved it as soon as I tried it on. The key features on this harness are the comfort and negligible weight. It is almost scary wearing this harness as one might feel unsecured without the typical dolorous effect of a standard harness. But don't let the comfort fool you, this guy has all the features of your top end harness, including a 15 kN haul loop and an autolocking buckle. The gear loops are a step up from the current trend of forward slanting molded gear loops since your gear is less likely to bunch up in this configuration. Black Diamond is certainly attempting to compete with Arc Teryx for the next generation harness and with the chaos, they have achieved their goal.
