The Boa Duffle Rope Pack by Black Diamond has padded shoulder straps and a webbing waistbelt, making it ideal for climbing at Rifle, Red River Gorge, the Gunks or any other crag with a short approach. A zipper down the center allows access to the main compartment, and molded handles let you carry it as a duffle between routes or when you're shouldering a bouldering pad. Two internal zippered pockets keep your small essentials dialed. A detachable tarp is included to keep your rope and gear clean.

"awesome pack" 		          11/01/07
definately a cool bag. lets see on a regular day of cragging ive got a 60m 10.3 rope, shoes, harness, 2 chalk bags, 2 water bottles, guide book, and a bunch of small things like nail clippers and tape. Theres still plenty of room for draws or probably a full trad rack with some careful organizing. Its definately very bomber, the zippers and everything are super beefy, and I like its simplicity too. other backs have at least 10 straps hanging off the back, this only has 2 shoulder straps, a zipper, and two handles. the shoulder straps arent the most padded ever, but they are plenty comfortale for the bags use. overall, a great crag pack.

"Would buy again." 		          10/15/07
Nice bag! Holds my rope and lots of other gear. I like all the feature on it such as how the zippers unzip all the way around, the shoulder straps are comfy and it's a solid, bombproof build. Even the handles are nice. Don't plan on much organization if you carry any more than ropes in it, but I was expecting that. Comes with a nice groundcloth to keep the rope clean.

THIS ROPE PACK IS ALSO A REALLY EXCELLENT DUFFEL FOR TRAVELING BLOCKEDKEYWORD RELATIVELY LIGHT, SIMPLE, BUT BALLISTIC-BUILT, WITH BIG HONKIN' ZIPPERS. IT'S BEEN ALL OVER THE PLANET WITH ME. IT'S A GOOD SIZE FOR CARRY-ON IF YOU DON'T PACK IT TO BURSTING. THE HARNESS SYSTEM ISN'T UP FOR A SUMMER ON THE AT, BUT IT'S QUITE NICE FOR HAULING STUFF FROM THE PLANE TO THE HOSTEL. IF YOU WANT MORE OF A SUSPENSION SYSTEM (AT MUCH HIGHER COST), GET THE NON-DUFFLE VERSION OF THE BOA.
