OVERSIZE ITEM: We cannot ship this product by any expedited shipping method (3-Day, 2-Day or Next Day). Even if you pick that option, it will still go Ground Shipping. Sorry for being so mean. The Predator Pack by Black Diamond uses the new V-Flex Suspension to combine features, comfort and performance. Its main compartment easily fits all luxury items for a day of ice or rock cragging. The PickPocket carries two to four axes and a generously sized external pocket safely holds crampons and is easily accessed with gloves. A rope strap secures two ropes and reinforced ski slots hold skis in an A-frame position. Hydration compatible. Upper axe loops double as emergency haul loops when used with grab loop and the removable lid is big enough for guide book, Nalgene, first aid kit and sun protection. Thermo-molded back panel, 15 mm thick dual-density shoulder straps and waistbelt provide backpacker-quality performance that easily strips down to be afull-speed alpine climbing pack. Constructed from long-lasting 420d nylon and 1260 Ballistics, the Predator will endure through season-after-season use. FEATURES of the Predator 50 Pack by Black Diamond

"Strong and well made." |

| I have a quiver of backpacks and find this to be a nice compromise in size and weight. It is strong and versatile. I did lose one of the hip belt buckles and had to improvise until I remembered that the top lid strap had the same buckle. | |

| this is a great pack. its not ridiculously light but 3 pounds isnt bad. it had incredible compression. it has uber sweet ski slots. the panel loading is just so useful. the brain is complex which might be a bad thing but you can always just not use the extra features. the pocket on the front middle of the pack is nice, its supposed to be used for crampons, but beacuse its spring and then summer i use it for flip flops. the best feature is hte compression it can also carry loads wonderfully. the one thing the straps are all long, which is good beacuse you can cut then to the length you like the end | |

| Great to use for mixed use expeditions and for stripping it down to the bear essentials for final day summit pushes. This pack can handle the requirements of the mountains with aplomb | |
