"Bombproof pack for skiing and climbing" 05/19/10
Nice and narrow for climbing, xc skiing, etc. Able to fit everything for two or three days with some effort, and when alpine climbing the ability to get a second tool with one hand is awesome. Fabric has held up to a couple drags on slabs, and some nast summer gravel ice mixtures. Highly recommended
"I want another one!" 05/28/08
I bought the pack for a canyoneering adventure in Zion, UT. We were going down Imlay canyon and I needed something tough, light and with a good suspension design. The pack performed really well. It was loaded with about 35 lbs. of gear, dragged through potholes, down scraping sandstone chimneys, immersed in water for 8 hours, and dragged over river rocks in the Virgin Narrows. It performed really well--the 42 liters is perfect for a lightweight overnight adventure trip-.
