Outstanding product at a minimal priceThis girdle solved an immediate problem for me. I have a BA Park series bag (for the tall people) and because the bag is so big, I couldn't fit it into my pack without it literally filling the entire bag. Unfortunately BA's stuff sacks don't have compression straps, but this product solved it! I was hoping the straps would be a little more robust (read: they're thin), but they serve their purpose. Time will tell how they stand up to wear and tear. It is a little difficult fitting the girdle around the stuff sack, especially with the larger Park bags.,,,,Overall, extremely pleased. Especially for the price.

Super versatile and can really come in handy. This product is just handy to have with you. While yes, it does compact my 0 degree sleeping bag to half its size, which is undescribably helpful while in the backcountry, it also is an extra set of straps and rings should any break and you need to fix on the go. With this piece of equipment being so cheap, who cares if you have to sacrifice one once in a while, as well, get creative, and you would be surprised with what how you can use it to splint, hang, net, brace, etc.....you get my point. buy one today. i literally have an extra in my pack.

Great if you have a stuff sack but no compression sackI got this to use with my Big Agnes sleeping bag stuff sack (they don't come with compression sacks). It's lightweight but should really be a little longer for use the the BA sleeping bags. Once you get the girdle over the sack, it's hard to start tightening, but once you get it going you can really compress things down. It's a decent product but not great.

Works with ease!I think my spouse could even manage this! I'm able to compress my Big Agnes 0 degree down bag to half of it's original size (which really matters when trying to get 'em all into my pack)! The straps are incredibly easy to manage... makes for a quick pack up at base. I've found no negatives to this at all.

It sure works!I use this on my Kelty Cosmic Down 20 bag, and I'm able to compress it down to the size of a softball! About half its usual size. Well worth buying!
