Great Bag!,,Bought this bag for my wife (she's a bit claustrophobic.) Every other mummy bag we tried caused her to panic & flail about until I unzipped her. I admit, that was great fun, and I did get several concessions on some of our “long term issues,” even so, it was clear she would never use one of those other bags on a backpacking trip.,,Enter the Big Agnes Summit Park…in a word, roomy. In two words, roomy & warm. In three words, roomy, warm and light weight. (Yea, I know I can’t count words.) The Summit Park is well designed with every feature being well thought out. In particular, my wife likes the bit that seals cold air from coming in around the neck. Most of all, of course, she likes the room

Roomy Warm-ish CompressibleI am a big guy (5'10" 260) so I NEED BA Park bags.My gf prefers the extra room that this bag provides. Its nice that they don't insulate the bottoms (saves weight/space).As with all BA Park bags, I can almost stick my knee out at 90 degrees. As far as the temp rating goes, it depends on many factors (the climate that the user is used to, the user's body fat percentage, the sleeping pad's R-value).If you live in Colorado & use an R-7 pad, then the BA temp ratings should be close to advertized. If you use an uninsulated pad, live in Miami & get cold easily, then you should add about 25 degrees to the advertized temp. I used this bag with an R-5 rated pad; at 30 degrees, I was very warm & comfortable. The insulated pad made a huge difference in the bag's rating.Tip - use a warm breath-through balaclava as cold air will enter through the bag's top opening. The draft collar works well, but its not perfect - wear an insulated top if necessary.
