Big Agnes uses their standard-setting DAC Combination lightweight pole system, including poles, press fit connectors, and hubs, made from TH72M aluminum with eco-friendly anodizing. Set up is quick and easy using the simple pole and hub design with color coded poles, grommet webbing, and buckles. The Trail Weight of the Soda Mountain 4 person tent is 7lb, 15oz, and the Packed Weight is 8lb, 8oz, but even with the light weight, you still have plenty of space when set up with the 57sq feet of floor area. Big Agnes adds in plenty of superior features on the Soda Mountain SL, including mesh pockets on the interior to organize gear, storm flaps on zippers, reflective guyline and stakeouts for nighttime visibility, and all of the seams are taped with waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane tape.
