Big Agnes...15 degreeReceived my BA sleeping bag. I selected the long version. I am 6'2" and was concerned about having enough room in the regular size. I am happy with the size of this bag. I also had ample room to move around a bit while totally zipped up. I bought a BA pad long pad. It wasn't completely clear to me on how big the pocket on the bottom of the sleeping bag was. I bought the long pad that I believe is 25 inches wide. I think it may be too wide for the pocket. I did like the fact that at my head the pad is longer than the bag so I have extra pad available above my head. I haven't actually tried this in the field yet, but I will include an additional review when I do.

Great bag!I really love this bag, I'm 6'6" 310 and it gives me plenty of room to switch between sleeping on my back, stomach, and sides. If you're a big person and want a cold weather bag, this is perfect (wide long). I really liked the integrated sleeve for the pad because despite my moving around, I can't ever fall off the pad anymore! The bag warmed up in about 10 minutes and I ended up only wearing my baselayer, super toasty. Also, for once a sleeping bag where the zippers don't catch every single time! Very nice.

Love the new featuresI am a dedicated Big Agnes fan and this bag reaffirms my dedication and desires for more Big Agnes products. I used this bag for two weeks in The Andes in Peru and if performed flawlessly in the cold, rain, and it even survived the less than stellar hostels. I have several Big Agnes bags and this is my first of the 2016 models. The new features such as the fluffier collar make it so much more like sleeping in my own bedroom. My favorite new feature is the ability of the detached head section of the bag that gives you the mobility from the sleeping pad. You can almost sit up. During my trek I encounter varying temperature and my old 2014 Lost Ranger would have some outer moisture. I encountered the same elements and found I had no moisture/condensation on the outside. This bag is worth every penny! If you camp in the elements this bag has your name on it!

Snug integrated sleeping bagI didn't only buy this product because it was local in the area, but I am inlove with the sleeping pad set up they have for it. Slide it ride in and it's an all in one system. I am a little bummed with the fact that I NEED the pad, but I wanted one any way so it works out. Comfortable hood and neck to block out the wind.
Trying to decide between the long and the long wide. I'm 6'3" and 225. I slide sleep and toss. I really like the idea of the pad sleeve but don't want too much room for drafts.

Thanks for the question! The Lost Ranger is designed for side sleepers, as it is taller across the top. . The Wide option will add about seven inches in the shoulder and hip areas. Selecting between the Long or Long Wide will be more based on your chest and waist measurements, as opposed to weight. The Wide will require a sleeping bad that is 25"x78". So that can give you an idea on what body type it will fit. Based on the info you provided, I think the Wide will be too big for you. Remember, you want this bag to fit closely to your body to retain warmth. The Long has a shoulder girth of 73" and a hip girth of 68". The Wide has a shoulder girth of 80.5" and a hip girth of 75". Hope this helps a little!
