"Minimalist design for the summer time!" 04/26/10
This is EXACTLY the bag I was looking for, not too much, not too less. I like the BA philosophy of omitting the bottom insulation as it compresses anyhow. The sleeve for your mat works great, but you'll prefer to have the full size mat for it to stay put. There is a pocket that can be stuffed with clothes or a pillow to keep you from losing it in the middle of the night. The rectangular cut is nice a roomy for side and stomach sleepers. The drawstring keeps heat inside. I wish it had a second zipper to vent a foot or leg and/or the zipper extended around the toe box for more hot weather venting options. A pocket for a flashlight/knife would also be welcome.
"Comfortable, roomy, and lightweight" 11/24/09
I bought this one for my wife and the long for myself. The Lost Dog is an awesome bag for warmer weather. It is very light, compacts well, and is really comfortable. The material is really comfortable to sleep on. The pad straps on the bottom are an awesome addition. The temperature rating seems to be pretty spot on, much below 50 and it starts to get cold. Like I said, we have 2 and got my friend to get one for him.
"Great bag for warm weather" 11/24/09
This is a great bag for warm weather. It is light and packs down nicely. You could not ask for any more room in a sleeping bag, that is for sure. I like Big Anges' touch with not putting any insulation on the bottom and adding the pad straps. I am 6'1" and the long is huge; I have plenty of room beyond my feet. The 50 degree rating is pretty good, much below that and you will get pretty cold.
"Good Bag" 11/06/08
This is perfect bag for warm weather-it breathes well, super light weight and you are able to stuff it in any part of your pack. I love this bag because of how your thermarest is integrated; I am a roller so it is perfect for me not to fall off my sleeping pad. I have a standard therma rest that is 20 in wide but is not long enough, so make sure that you are okay with your feet hanging off the bottom of the pad or you may want to purchase a longer pad for it. I also like how the bag a nylon cord so you can close the top of the bag and tuck your head in for those nights that it gets really cold.
"great sleeping bag" 08/04/08
great bag. light, dries quick, resist dirt. I have two dogs and they walk all over this bag and have not torn it yet. lots of room and good to about 45 deg. I have had this bag for 3 years, hiked the long trial with it.
