Very competent tent, one important caveat. The Jack Rabbit SL3 is very similar to the Copper Spur UL3, with some important differences. Positive: the doors on the JR3 open to the side, rather than rolling down, which has been a frequent complaint about the CS3. Negative: it's hard to tell in the pictures, since the wall in question is pointed away from the camera, but one wall of the JR3 is entirely mesh, with no 2/3-height nylon barrier like the other three sides. I don't really know why BA did this... views, perhaps? It entirely compromises the wind- and debris-blocking qualities of the structure, and is a pretty good argument for going for the CS3 in the first place.

Great tent, easy to set upI was looking to buy a lightweight backpacking tent for two people primarily for outings in the BWCA. The specs I targeted were a three person, three season tent with two doors, decent ceiling height to be able to sit up comfortably, while keeping it as close to five pounds as possible. I just got back from a five day/four night BWCA adventure and the tent worked great. It was lightweight, easy to set up and fit the two of us and some gear just fine with room to spare. The corner gear nets were very handy and the guy lines light up like an airport runway when coming back from a night time latrine visit.

great design, lots of space, well built. LOVE IT!Did A LOT of research before settling on this tent. use it for two people mostly, very roomy, enough for two backpacks or a third person, gets pretty cramped though (and threes a crowd any ways ). its built exactly like the more expensive, multi award winning big Agnes copper spur 3 but with more heavy duty material so the tent wont wear down over time and but comes at a cost minimal amount of extra weight. I'm 6 foot and I have plenty of room to change and fully sit up, even close to the sides of the tent. I have solo camp with this tent a couple of times, but find it has too much room and its more weight then i would need to carry. but its doable. This is a exceptionally good buy.
