Spacious, warm, packableThis bag is a dream! Add the Exped Downmat 9 and a comfy pillow guaranteed you will have one of the most luxurious back-country nap times possible.,,,,The pillow holder is a nice touch; I keep my thermarest inside it when I stuff the bag into an O.R. 25L Dry Comp. Sack. It compresses down to a basketball approx. 11"x11" (pillow included).,,,,My wife and I zip our bags together most nights which works quite well. The zipper seam has padding so you don't contact it directly inside and when joined together each bag has an area that can separate our feet from one another if wanted (which I do).,,,,It is obviously not a minimalist's item, but is not too heavy or Voluminous to pack backcountry.

Need a larger bag without the added weight or volume... then this is it!!!!!!!!!!As a bigger guy, I needed a bag that would accommodate me with out taking up my entire pack or weigh me down. Big Agnes provides a ton of room for a big guy like me and it doesn't slow me down with added weight and it still leaves plenty of room in my pack for other important gear. One thing to keep in mind when buying this sleeping bag is that it's meant to be paired with a sleeping pad to achieve the effective rating, but that just adds to the comfort that Big Agnes has to offer.,,,,If my Big Agnes Sleeping bag ever wears out, I will most certainly be replacing it with another!!!

Warm & ComfyI love the BA Park bags for their larger size. Unfortunately, that larger size means slightly more weight (especially when dealing with 0 degree bags). By omitting the insulation in the bottom of the bag, BA is able to reduce both size & weight of the bag. Unless you are an Alaskan Inuit, you MUST use a highly insulated pad with this bag in cold temps. I recommend a pad with at least a R-5 value (preferably higher). Some people use a closed cell pad under an insulated air pad if the ground is REALLY cold (camping on ice or snow). In addition (as with any bag), very cold air will come into the opening at the top of the bag, especially if you toss & turn a lot, so you will want something to keep your head warm (I use a breath-through balaclava). The bag's draft collar works, but if it is really cold, I wear a thin thermal shirt for extra insurance. The middle & lower part of the bag was warm with very minimal clothing necessary. With a warm pad, this bag should be good for 5-20 degrees.
