for the Big Agnes Heart Mountain SL 30 Degree Sleeping Bag
"Great Bag if you like the Big Agnes system"
01/01/13
I slept in this bag at least 10 nights in southern Utah this year. I am 6 feet tall and fairly wide so I have the long version to get the extra girth. I used the BA insulated core mattress and BA pillow with it and found it to be very comfortable. It dipped into the low 30s several nights and I was still not cold, that said I am a pretty warm sleeper. I have heard others complain about the BA system not being good for side sleepers because of the bag hood, but I have never found that to be a problem and I squirm around from side to stomach to back. I have had the zipper get caught in the fabric several times, but no more than any other bag that I have ever used such as the Marmot Sawtooth.
