The Big Agnes Gunn Creek 30 Degree Sleeping Bag is a synthetic sleeping bag for camping and backpacking. The occasional backpacker and car camper will love the rectangular shape for lots of space to move through the night. Don't forget the sleeping pad, the Gunn Creek has an integrated pad sleeve, ready to fit a 20 inch wide pad inside so you won't roll off it. The Integrity synthetic insulation will provide water resistance in wet conditions, combining with a water resistant nylon rip-stop shell for additional protection. Cinch down the insulated hood for a good night's rest so you can tackle more trail come morning.

Without a doubt best sleep system style on the market (car/luxury backpacking, at least)I freaking love this baby. There isn't a single feature that it lacks. First of all, having the pad separate makes a tone of sense because it increases versatility of the bag (different R-value pads can be slid in) and you never roll off it, UNLESS you roll off it onto another persons pad - which, gets me to the next great thing. It zips in with a cuddle busy and next thing you know you'll be looking into purchasing your first tent fan. Awesome pillow pocket, not a complete mummy but not some square cole-man style, and hang loops let it dry out in seconds. Used it plenty outdoors, but also slept on this thing and a thermarest for three weeks in an apartment while moving. When my mattress finally did show up... I wasn't even sure how I felt about it. The BA folks have it figured out, this system is legit.

Great Sleeping Bag to Start!I bought this for backpacking and it's light, but surprisingly warm! I love it! I'm very excited to use it in future trips!

Great Bag with Great FeaturesThis is a really cool bag with very innovative features like a pocket for the pillow (so it stays put through the night, an integrated pocket for the sleeping pad. The sleeping pad tucks into this space on the bottom side of the bag so that you stay on the pad all night long. ,,,,Couple of notes: The integrated sleeping pad is cool, and the bag relies on this as there is no insulation on the underside of the sleeping bag. This makes the bag lighter, but make sure your sleeping pad has the R value required for the temperature of the ground. Otherwise you will get cold through the night, as the chill will rise through the bag.,,,,One feature that I would have loved to have is a zipper in the footwell to provide ventilation. The footwell is boxed with insulation, so if you get hot at night the best you will be able to do is unzip the side zipper which is at knee height. ,,,,
