solid construction & design. practical solution to tarp tents if you want to camp in the alpineused this tent for 7 days in the cascades. was able to use tent with and w/o fly.,,pros are numerous:,,#1) very light wt for size of tent, packs down to small package & is easy to carry,,#2) interior color is great even in dim light and is cheerful- exterior color blends into landscape.,,#3) super roomy for one. have not tried it with two, but during storm did bring full sized pack inside tent. gear pockets in tent are nicely placed. zippers worked great. cleaver fly attatchment meant no condensation.,,,,only draw back was during intense wind, and rain storm @ 8000 feet water did splash up under front door - minor water came in through screen door

Compact, Portable, Lightweight & Easy-setupI prefer my gear compact, portable, lightweight and preferably a breeze to setup; The Big Agnes Fly Creek UL2 satisfies on all counts - only the Platinum version is lighter. This tent is unbelievably easy to setup and quick at that. The optional floor (which also folds down quite compact) is well worth it to protect this somewhat pricey investment. We've got 2 of the tents and initially wanted one just as a backup, but having one all to yourself makes for a luxuriously roomy camping experience. The tent breathes OK, slightly less well with the fly on as expected, but a small sacrifice for tent that wins on so many other factors.

Ultra lightweight, limited space.BA has constructed literally one of the lightest double wall tents on the market. It holds up to a significant amount of wind while packing down to about two nalgene bottles. It functions exceptionally well in the rain as well. The only downsides are that it's really about a 1.5 person tent. I can fit in it with my thermarest and a pack, but with two people (you'd better love your pal), it is a little too cozy. Two pads will fit in it side by side, but you're touching the walls with your shoulders. I highly reccomend it for a double wall tent for a solo packer. It's the best option for it's purpose if you're trying to stay away from the single wall camp.

Perfect Backpacking Tent - For One PersonUnless you want to be really cozy with your trekking partner, i.e., non-stop spooning, this is a one-person tent. That said, I (6’2”, 205lbs) was incredibly comfortable alone in this tent with all my gear and probably enough space for a pony keg.,,,,The tent has a great blend of nylon and mesh, which without the rain fly, provided great ventilation and decent wind-blockage for those breezy, clear nights. With the rain fly, the difference in warmth and of course, ventilation was clearly different, but the degree of the stinkiness within the tent was still better than expected.,,,,The bottom line is this tent is well worth the money because it's down-right awesome.

So small and light, everyone will hate you.I love this tent. Really, I do. I recently spent two weeks camping in Africa with only an Osprey talon 33L bag (no handing my bag over for someone to strap on top of a bus!) ,,,,I was able to stuff this tent with rainfly, my pack towel, and a mountain hard wear ultra lamina sleeping bag into a single stuff sack, cram it down, and it fit perfectly in the bottom of my bag. The poles were a little longer than I'd like, but fit in the bag. ,,,,My one concern when buying it was the durability. While after using it heavily about 30 times has alleviated this concern, I will say that on the first day I used it a small jagged rock promptly poked a hole in the floor of the tent.

Roomy and easy to set upI just received this tent from Moosejaw. I set it up at home to familiarize myself with the product and check for defects or damage during shipping. ,,The tent set up very quickly and so simply a caveman could do it (plagiarized slogan). I consider it to be roomy enough for two averaged-sized adults; a couple of big dudes may feel a little cramped. Since there is no cross pole to spread the tent width-wise as with the Big Agnes Copper Spur, the rainfly must be installed, clipped to the tent itself and tethered to the stakes to fully open up inside. The vestibule is adequate; barely able to squeeze two packs inside. The tent packs up ultra-small and is light as a proverbial feather.

My new go to summer tent - amazing.Easy to pitch and pack, great in wind, (even if you're an idiot and don't plan for 40mph wind gusts to the side) and surprisingly durable. Once you figure out how to stake it out correctly, it's plenty spacious for two, if you know the other camper well. I'm 6'1, 150lbs and I've fit fine in this tent with another dude of similar size. Also makes a stellar solo tent if you have a lot of gear or are a restless sleeper. The weight is amazing, too. The mesh is great for ventilation (and stargazing), though there is some condensation with the fly on. The only downside is the price. I purchased it on mega-sale; otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford it. But you get what you pay for.

Great but small! We put up the tent in our back yard to see how big it was. I'm 5'10'' and my husband is 6'4''. The tent for him was too short. He's head was by the door and feet were touching other end of the tent. It's not very wide and our shoulders were touching. We would not be able to have anything inside the tent beside the two of us. It is a great well made lightweight tent unfortunately not for us. I returned it and got the three person tent instead and it's great, we can put some gear inside the tent!!!!Three person tent is a pound more but there is so much more room in it!!
