The Big Agnes Copper Spur UL2 Tent is an ultralight tent for backpacking through new and exciting trails. The Copper Spur UL2 is a three season tent that will house two people, or provide lots of space for solo hikers looking for luxury. The freestanding tent uses DAC twist clips to connect to the DAC Featherlite NSL pole system for a quick set up. The bathtub style floor is ultralight silicone treated nylon rip-stop with a 1200mm waterproof polyurethane coating, to protect against rain and damp grounds while you sleep. The mesh upper allows for plenty of airflow and ventilation, ready for star-gazing as you drift off to sleep on dry nights. The rain fly uses the same material and coating as the tent floor to protect against the rain driving down from above. The fly creates two vestibules for gear storage, dry entry into the tent, and kicking off muddy shoes. Dual doors are glorious when camping with a buddy, especially during late night calls of nature. The interior of the tent features four mesh pockets and two media pockets, a must-have for glasses-wearers. Don't wake up in the woods to find out you've slept on your glasses. Packing down to a trail weight ( poles, fly and tent body) of 2lb 13oz, your back and shoulders will thank you as you arrive to each new camp along the trail.

Awesome Tent! (2014 version)For starters, the tent pictured here is the 2012 version, but what ships is the up to date 2014 version (You can compare the picture with the one on BA's website). The specs listed here are correct though.,,,,The tent is great. The 2014 update addressed the previous version's weaker pole design where poles would randomly snap. The poles are nice and lightweight but feel sturdy. The crossbar up top makes the walls almost completely vertical, this is extremely roomy and comfortable for 1 person, but a tight fit for 2. The 2 doors helps if you try to pull this off with 2 people. Can only use 20" pads then.,,,,The doors and zippers are well-made. For one person use, double doors and vestibules means you can use one door for going in and out, and the opposite side as a second room under the rainfly for gear. ,,,,The included stakes are nice and lightweight (0.4 oz each), but not the strongest looking. If you plan to go into windy conditions, pick up some MSR groundhogs. ,,,,Couldn't be happier.

The best 2 person tentWow I love this thing I have had my eye on a light weight 2 person tent for a while. I did tons of research and comparing... I seen some that had of these and fell in love. I cant believe how light weight this tent is. I really like setting it up without the tent body just the fly and pole with the foot print. so much room and it so light cant say enough good things about this tent

It's a great ultra light tent, that can handle strong winds and rain but weights very little.I have had this tent for about a year now and I absolutely love it. I haven't had any condensation problems, because of the great ventilation and I love how quick it is to setup. It can also take a bit of a beating. I was okay with 100km/h winds when I camped close to Mt Cook, New Zealand but I do not recommend it for winter use (3 season only).

I just purchased this tent and during my living room setup I noticed the DAC H clip is trapped between two pole segments and is constrained to slide in two directions on the smaller diameter which slides into the adjacent pole segment. Is this right?
Asked by: mbez
Hiya, thanks for your question! Did you try connecting all of the pole segments? As soon as you snap the two pole segments together, the clip will no longer be trapped. Hope this helps!
