Great tent, really easy setup and plenty of room for two. The two doors and vestibules are awesome, plenty of room to store all your gear and keep it dry. I am 6'2" 190 lbs. and have no problem sleeping in this tent with my wife. You also have room to cook under the vestibule if it's raining. I ordered some lighter weight stakes and stuff sacks and even got the weight down just a little more. Tent is mostly freestanding so you really do not need a lot of stakes. If you check your pitch site well you can do without footprint. Great roomy tent for 2 people that holds up in the weather.
If you can swallow the price tag, this is your lightweight 2 man tent right here.I can only assume their engineers are geniuses or on a different level than other designers. Sheds rain like expected, holds up to the rigors of trail use well. Rainfly is awesome in design and I like the extra room in the vestibules. Try to get the optional gear loft as well and just use a custom cut Tyvek sheet for a footprint. Wish it came in more colour options, but I'm happy with the orange (others might want a more neutral colour however.)Awesome investment!
I have used this tent up and down the AT in VA & in the Rockies. I have found it to be extremely functional and lightweight. With dual - side mounted doors - when a tent partner needs to get up in the middle of the night you are spared the inevitable elbow in the face. With 2 doors you get 2 vestibules. This is extremely handy for pack storage and accessibility. The construction is durable yet minimalist and completely watertight. I have ridden out a steady 12 hour Colorado rainstorm at 12K feet with no problem. It has remained steady as a rock and quiet as a mouse in 30mph winds. Did I mention set-up is a breeze? At just over 3lbs this tent is fantastic!
Have searched high and low for a superlight weigth free standing 2 Person tent that offers some room inside to be able to move without making the inner touch the outer! Am so relieved I found this one!!! Compared to the MSR carbon reflex it weighs the same but offers more room and packs smaller and is free-standing. No need to say any more I guess.
We have had this tent for 4 years and love it! It is the lightest and most durable backpacking tent we have ever had. The setup is a synch, so when you roll into camp after a long day you won't have to wait long to rest. Holds up in all types of weather and the dual vestibule ensures that all your gear will stay dry. One of the screens on ours tore and we sent it back to Big Agnes and they had it fixed and returned to us within two weeks. Amazing company that you can trust!

This tent is the lightest tent I have ever owned, & was a bit worried how it would hold up in nasty conditions, and so far its preformed above and beyond my expectations! I would recommend getting the footprint, since it makes this tent much more logical to set up in nasty weather, rain or wind. It holds up extremely well in High wind, this was a major plus in my last trip where wind was fierce, & once fully staked, this thing wasn't going anywhere. Major Ups. Be sure to add string to 6 of your stakes prior to use!!
This tent is pretty awesome. At 4lbs my party of 3 backpacking takes 2 because we can. Don't let the weight let you think its not durable, the thing is built like a brick house! The pole set is awesome, and so is 2 doors with 2 HUGE vestibules. Big Agnes hit a home run with this tent.
I bought this tent strictly because of the extra height, side doors and vestibules. Worked well for 2 people both under 6 ft. This tent performed very well in windy, raining conditions with the help of 4 nine inch stacks. The rain that blew in under the outer shell didn't come in the inner shell do to the protective side walls being a little taller than other light tents . 3 people can actually sit in this tent . The pros to this 2 man tent over others are, more vestibule space, taller ceiling, large floor space, 2 side doors. Not the lightest tent but prepare for guests if weather gets nasty.
