"5 days in the Sierras (including Whitney) and barely a mark on it" 07/10/12

And the bottom of my tent stayed dry and unscathed, as well. One of the campsites was basically granite pebble-sand. I'm sure there's worse, and I'l revise my review if I find it bests the footprint, but for the weight, this thing is muy macho.

"great!" 04/25/11

A must have for the coppur spru ul 1 tent. It weighs barely anything and will keep the bottom of my tent dry and intact. You can even use it alone with the rainfly, leaving the tent body out, for an ultra-lightweight shelter. (not that I will do that...I don't like bugs crawling on me)

"This thing rocks!!" 04/13/10

Works just like they designed, nice and flat... No holes and makes use of the poles for a fast UL shelter w/o the tent... It has leads/holes for the poles to clip into and feels slightly thicker than the base of the tent. I use a UL sleeping pad so really have to avoid holes and this keeps the small stuff at bay and from getting a leak in the tent.At 4.5oz - not too heavy...
