Rated 4 out of 5 by from great to have I find this to be a pretty good sleeping pad pretty much wherever you are. It is small and easy to carry, while moderately durable. As others have mentions, it really does take some practice to sleep on, but after the third or fourth night I felt like a pro. Reason is, that it is slippery when combined with many sleeping bags. After I practiced using it in my friends apartment for a few nights I took it a couple hours east of portland early november this year. It was a great thing to have but I noticed at that time of year it was alittle cold, and I found myself wishing I had got the insulated one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extremely Comfortable and Takes Up Little Space. Pros: This thing is by far the most comfortable backpacking sleeping pad I have ever slept on. You can sleep on your side comfortably, and the thickness of the sleeping pad makes for a heavenly night of sleep in the backcountry. This pad also compresses down to a really small size, leaving you a lot more room in your pack if you were previously using a traditional Thermarest or something like that.,,Cons: It can deflate throughout the night (as the air gets colder) and it takes a long time to blow up.,,Advice: Blow it up as soon as you get to camp and wait a few hours. Then top it off just before bed, and you'll have no problems with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesomeness I bought this pad to try to see if I liked it over the thinner, self-inflating pads. Turns out, this thing is awesome. It packs up much smaller than the self-inflating Thermarest pad that I had and is much more comfortable. Packs up nicely into its stuff sack, and the little repair kit that was included seems pretty handy (haven't needed it so far). Works well with my sleeping pad, and I didn't have any problems rolling off of it. It works really well with the Big Agnes bags that have the sleeping pad pocket (as you would expect). All in all it's a great sleeping pad, especially for the price of it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable and can't beat the price I'm a big guy at 6ft 200lbs and wide enough that if it weren't for my sleeping bag my arms would hang off the side of the pad but even with that factored in I was plenty comfortable on the pad. The big concern with buying this over a foam pad was having to blow it up. It's really not a problem though. I would imagine using the pad with a Big Agnes bag would be the ultimate way to go but I used another brand and it was fine. I didn't feel like I was going to slip off the bag anytime during the night. The only slippage I had was due to putting the tent up on a slight incline and I'd have to scoot the bag up the grade a bit due to me twisting and turning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Highly Recommended I did a lot of research on the most comfortable/lightest sleeping pad that wouldn't break the bank. I kept coming back to this one. When it came I was immediately impressed by how small and light it really was! Big plus! It was a quick inflate job and before I knew it I was sleeping on air - literally. It was really comfortable; none of the air-leaking-wake-up-on-ground issues. It was blown up just as much as it was when I first laid on it. Another big plus! The only nit-picky thing I have about this pad is that it is easy to slide off of because of how slick the pad is against a slick sleeping bag. But the slippy-ness in no way outweighs the compact size and light weight this pad offers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable, Great Price, and packs really small! I bought this item last year having a lightweight, comfortable, and functional sleeping pad on the road - and it didn't disappoint me. I carried this for 3 weeks in Africa and I didn't lose much sleep on the road. It packs really small, lightweight, easy to inflate (yes, manual), and you don't feel the rough ground while sleeping. Lots of great qualities! An observation though that Big Agnes can still improve on, it takes sometime to deflate - wish it could do it on its own. And if there's a slope on the ground, you tend to slide off the pad. Otherwise, this is a great pad for the price paid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy, holds air very comfortable, but a little noisy when I tossed and turned. The only air pad I've used, so that might be normal. Used it for a month, no wear. Stayed inflated several nights in a row. ,,,,Only thing I didn't like is the valve system. Only because I kept getting confused or forgot how it worked so it was a bit frustrating when I kept losing air even though I thought I was turning it correctly and quickly. Simply enough, I just kept rereading the instructions until it was habit. ,,,,Non insulated, though it kept me very warm on some colder nights (30 F air temp, 32 rated bag, no chills.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How do you beat it? In addition to this pad I use a Exped Down 9, Prolite 4, and a few other Thermarest. I selected this pad solely because of the cost to weight ratio with the R value as a consideration but not the deciding factor. With that in mind it's small, light, works well into the 30 degree range, and comes with a stuff sack and repair kit. This pad works and at the time it was a 1/3 the cost of a Neoair. It also had a higher R value than other inflatables with the exception of the Neoair, but again for warmer weather; R values not the clincher. Over all it's a good deal and beats sleeping on a standard Thermarest in terms of comfort.
