"Handy gadget don't expect it to keep you charged on the trail." 01/13/10

solar panel must be pointed almost directly at the sun for 6 or more hours to get an effective charge on its battery works great if you charge it at home in the back yard, any shade on the panels stop it from charging up. if you expect to be able to hike with it charging your out of luck . in Dry weather it charges OK attached to the tent, but as its so small it could walk away with the nearest traveler.it has kept my i pod going on long hikes, and is an excellent emergency charge for cell phones.

"Cool Product" 07/17/08

I'm going to give Solio a good review at this time. I haven't actually used the product yet but it looks pretty cool. I ordered the black wanted the silver but was not in and was a little disappointed that it is made out of a rubber material and not actual plastic. Besides that which is only a personal preference, no complaints.
