"Trek with pride, you are rocking the Fugitive GTX"

If you purchase these boots you are doing your feet a solid. Before picking up a pair of Fugitive GTXs I would backpack in my old Iraq issued Navy desert combat boots. They were comfortable for the base and in the heat, but wow were they not suited for backpacking.I fortunately picked these up from Moosejaw and I would highly recommend them. They are like submarines in water, my feet are bone dry after trekking through puddles and low streams. The only con I would have are the weight. I wish they could shave a few more ounces of the boot.Nevertheless, check these out if you are in the market for new boots. They definitely will not let you down.
I have enjoyed these more than any other I have owned . I know when I put them on I do not have to worry about the warmth, dryness, or the support for my feet !! NO WORRIES !! If you are thinking about these think no longer just order you will be HAPPY,HAPPY, HAPPY !!!
This has been my favorite pair of hiking boots that I have owned. I like the style compared to other full leather boots, and boy these things stay dry with the Gore-tex liners. I have never had a pair of boots stay so dry. My only complaint is the the soles seem to wear a bit more quickly than other boots, but the tradeoff is that it seems to be a sticker rubber, so good for scrambling/etc on rock. These are very well constructed, have a very short break in period, and even though I have replaced them with a new pair, they still get worn quite a bit as I can't seem to part with my first pair of Fugutives.

It was recently rumored that Sasquatch himself forged these boots in Mordor while everyone else was bickering about some ring. One boot to rule them all. These babies are comfortable, light, and INDESTRUCTIBLE!!!!Seriously, when December 21, 2012 hits, I'll be wearing the Asolo Fugitive. Not even the Mayans could have predicted how bombproof these boots are. I could walk be dropped into the middle of Lake Michigan and my feet would still be as dry as the Sahara. The only problem I'm having is that I keep throwing my money at my computer screen every time I see the boots on the website. Sadly, no matter how much money I throw, they don't come out of the computer :(
I did Kilimanjaro and Mt. Everest Base Camp in these with no problems! Keeps feet warm and feels like you've had them forever as soon as you put them on! Great ankle support and stylish.
I just got these boots along with some socks a week ago. The size was right on. The boots looked great. And delivery was super fast.... I wore them for the first time on a 10 mile hike with no problems at all. Heading out to climb some peaks on Monday. Stoked! Great Boot!
I have had this boot for a few years and it just keeps putting up with my torture. Two many miles to count in these without using sock liners & only one set of blisters on an extremely steep& muddy 17 mile trail day. Easy, short break-in period, some would say no break-in. It isn't stiff enough for crampon use, but this isn't your boot for that anyway. Holds up great to snow & water with feet always staying dry. The only catch has been the laces which wear quite a bit on the first set of lace hooks above the d-ring eyes. Asolo sent me an extra set of laces, but now I'm using Kevlar. The toe-box is generous & not cramped like comparable La Sportiva offerings.
My fugitives just fell apart, but they gave me 6 good years! I'm writing this review as I prepare to replace this boot after it carried me over 1000 miles. Standing water was no issue as long as it wasn't over the top of the boot and same goes for mud and snow. The GoreTex liner keeps feet dry. The support was great I felt nimble enough to move quick with a heavy load yet supported enough to tackle rugged terrain. Overall I think this is a fantastic boot and I'm about to get another pair. (Full disclosure: although I purchased these boots I have been a part of the Gore MountainTech testing initiative in which I occasionally receive Gore-Tex products in exchange for participation.)

THESE ARE PRETTY GOOD WORK BOOTS. VERY COMFORTABLE, PRACTICALLY FEEL LIKE SLIPPERS ONCE BROKEN IN. I WEAR THROUGH THE SOLES IN ABOUT 6 MONTHS, BUT FOR THE PRICE I CAN AFFORD 2 PAIRS OF THESE WORK BOOTS EACH YEAR. I AM SOON TO BE ON MY THIRD PAIR.

I bought these boots back in 2008 for my troops trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimmaron, NM. What a great buy! not only did they serve me well for all the practice hike( about 150 -200 miles total) but they also kicked ass on the trek itself( another 100 miles). Definitly worth the cash. The only problem I had was some sore feet while breaking them in but, what boots wont do that to ya?
Just bought these and they are the most comfrotable stable boots i have ever tried on. Extremely excited to break them in and will write a review when i use them fro the first time.
