"Good for harsh outdoor activity" 		          04/02/09
I didn't know this shoes before I joined survival game club. The club recommanded to wear this shoes for this shoes light but strong enough quality for very tough outdoor activity. For me this shoes is very good for both heavy backpack hiking as well as outdoor survival game. I recommand this shoes with thumb up.

"you'll suffer for quite awhile if your feet are not the right shape...." 		          01/29/08
I had owned two pairs of these boots. They are durable and provides good toe protection vs bumps. A good all-around hiking/backpacking boots. But I won't be buying them any more. The problem is that the uppers are so hard and thus take a lot of time and too much pain to break them in, although this could just be shape of my feet. Also, as with most European shoes, they are quite narrow at the toes. The wide sizes are actually narrower than some regular width US boots.
