Last year's model was better...I have bought this shoe back to back - so obviously I like it. It is also a good shoe if you supinate (roll weight on the outsides of your foot), and I haven't found many trail runners that work well for correcting supination. It breaks in easy, and is even a good show for hiking and backpacking of you prefer a lower profile shoe rather than boots. I feel like this year's model hasn't held up compared to last year's, which is why I gave a average rating. The tow area has peeled apart without a lot of miles on it and my big gripe is the traction has gone away quickly. A good shoe, but a bit of a letdown in terms of wear and tear breaking it down too quickly.
