Great supportive running shoes! These shoes are for runners with high arches and for those require a lot of support. These are really among the most supportive Asics running shoes. The GT2000 being a bit less supportive down to the ASIC Nimbus which are for neutral runners requiring cushioning support. Get a gait analysis or do the foot water footprint test to determine your foot type. Assuming these shoes are for you, they are amazing shoes. I've run a few half marathon and marathons with these shoes and have trained many miles with them. The fit is really comfortable and they lace up to make your foot really secure, I have wide feet so opted for the EE sizing. There really isn't a break in period needed for the shoes. The shoes are durable, I've never ha disses with broken eye holes or soles detaching. The shoes wear very evenly and last quite a few hundred miles. I highly recommend these shoes for the serious runner!
