"mislabled or false claim of woolyness" 09/15/12

alo. i ordered this hat cause it was a nice simple wool cap that would keep my noggin warmer than a normal cap. when it came the tag said polyester63%cotton34%spandex3%. Also found the exact cap (minus arcteryx logo) on flexfits website(the producer of the hats) with the same material ratio, under the description "wool-like textured fitted cap". While moosejaws description does not mention materials it is described on arcteryx's and backcountry's website as an acrylic wool blend and is sold here as the "wool bird cap". Maybe mines mislabeled but beware. I'm sending it back unfortunately cause ME WANT WOOL!!!!

"Soooooo nice!" 09/20/11

I bought the standard arcteryx bird cap (not wool) about 5 months ago and somehow managed to lose it. It was an awesome hat so I figured I would go buy the same one. Instead I found the wool version and picked it up....good decision!!!The wool version fits the exact same, has the same dimensions as the classic, but it's made out of a thin layer of wool (as the name suggests, duh). Just an awesome hat overall, fits my head perfect, wool is high quality and lighter than other standard hats. More comfortable than regular hats as well.I've owned this for only 2 days and it's already my top pick ever in hats. Definitely worth the extra little bit of money!
