The Arcteryx Women's Strato Hoody is a distinctively textured, technical snow sports layering piece in a relaxed fit. A specialty of Arcteryx, their Polartec Thermal Pro Cobble material insulates and breathes during activity, and a laminated brim maintains shape and improves visibility. The Strato hoody features low profile stretch-woven cuffs that shed snow, and at a mere 16.8 oz, bulky layering under shells and gloves is virtually non-existent. However, I cannot guarantee against bulkiness when you decide to wear three other sweaters under your hoody because you’re not brave enough to walk across campus in a blizzard. Man up woman.

ARC'TERYX MEASUREMENT and FIT GUIDE
HOW to MEASURE:
Chest / Bust - Measure around your chest / bust, holding the measuring tape under your armpit.
Waist - Measure around the natural waist, which is often the narrowest part of your waist.
Hip - Measure around your hips at the widest part.
Sleeve Length - With your arms in a slightly bent postion, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.
Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.
Dress Length - Measuring the front of the garment from the neckline at shoulder to the hem edge.
Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.
Hand Length - Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of the palm.
Hand Width - Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.
• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.
FIT TYPE INFO and DETAILS:
Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.
Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.
Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.
Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.
Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.
• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

Purchased for my daughterThis is a typical Arcteryx product. Extremely well made.,,,,I purchased this for my 13 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. She is 5'6" and weighs 117 lbs, got her a medium, fits a little on the big side but she is still growing, hopefully it will last this season and next. She normally doesn't wear a coat regardless of the weather outside and just wears one of her club soccer warm up jackets - too thin and not very warm. Once I gave her this jacket she won't take it off. ,,,,Arcteryx isn't well know at her age group but she still really likes wearing it and gets lots of complements from her friends.

I'm only repeating what my girlfriend told me!!!!!My GF was getting jealous that I was buying all this Arcteryx gear for myself that I felt bad (not really) so I bought her a piece just so she could feel as special as me (once again, not really) Erin, (who's the GF) said she loved this piece not only cause she looks Fashionably Fabulous, but likes the length it has because she has a long torso and a little waist (lucky me :) ) and it keeps her warm and if she's still a little chilly, that's when I cuddle up next to her and ...... well you get the idea! Anyways, she's very happy with this product and also likes it better than her Pategonia better sweater.

If there is one mid-layer to own, this is it!Want to make your friends jealous? This jacket is engineering to be super pro and the performance does not dissapoint. Like many outdoor enthusiasts, I have one favorite jacket, and this is it. It works well on its own and breathes nicely, performs admirably when used as a mid-layer, combined with a windproof shell, and looks great. Personally, I think that it is one of the best hoodies I have ever owned, and I love that it wears like iron. Among other things, I have rock climbed, hiked, and snowboarded in it and then found it still super cozy at the end of the day to hang out in.

Yes, but...I was lazy and shopped on line and bought this after having a nice live chat. Normally Arcteryx products are a little short on my monkey arms but this one hangs down over my knuckles and is super baggy on my arms. It's so weird it made me think the arms of a larger size were sewn on a smaller body. But like I said, I'm lazy and I hung it up and left town for a month or so. All the time wishing I had either brought it with or taken it back.,,,,If it weren't for the strange arms I'd love it. If you buy on line go to live chat and have them measure the arms first.

This mid layer jacket functions as described and is classy enough to wear dressed-up!This is a technical mid-layer jacket that can be worn casually and is stylish enough to wear while commuting to work, or galavanting about town, or simply walking your dog. The soft sweater-like exterior adds flair and there is NO VELCRO to snag the nice new sweater you might be wearing as a base layer. The slick sleave cuffs are as comfortable as they are functional and the outside material makes me want to pet my jacket! It's soft, what can I say. I wore my awesome new jacket to walk my wolf hound yesterday, in very windy conditions with a temperature just below freezing, and I was just right warm. This coat-like jacket fits me well and just for reference I am 5'4" and 145 lbs--I'm working on it! Definitely would recommend this jacket as well as the brand, Arcteryx, to a friend, or even a stranger like you!

stylish and warmI use this hoody to go from class to class on campus. It's warm, comfy and wicked stylish. It is usually hard for me to find hoodies I like because I have a long torso but this fits me perfectly. People are always telling me how much they like the curacao blue color. ,,,,Arcteryx is so much superior to any other company because they really care about making a quality technical and fashionable products. Other lines seem to focus to much on fashion.

Love this jacket! Versatile and great quality! This jacket fits a need that few other jackets do. Snow doesn't stick to it, it has a sweatshirt/hoodie type look to it, it blocks wind (somewhat) and the elements, but has a comfortable look to it. You can use it casually around town or, better yet, what it's meant for - being active. It has some 'weight' to it, but it's not a heavy jacket and has a semi-snug fitting shape to it. This jacket quickly became one of my favorites.
