"Simply Amazing - hangdog all day if ya want!" 		          09/28/09
There are some other great harnesses out there, but they pale in comparison to what Arc'Teryx has done with the R280. Its combination of materials and construction is so impressive, you feel like you're not wearing a harness at all. Please don't misunderstand: this harness is bomber, yet exceedingly lightweight & mysteriously seamless, lending itself to one ingenious creation. Usual caveat: Make sure the harness fits you correctly. Like any piece of technical 'clothing', you must ensure a proper fit for safety & comfort. While this harness fits me perfectly, not all beings are created anatomically equal. It goes w/out saying, the one downside to fitted leg loops is lack of adjustability.

"Best Harness Ever" 		          06/13/09
This harness is the best. Amazingly light and thin, but still provides great support and cushion. Always comfortable, no matter what. I use it in the gym and outdoors for toprope, sport lead and following trad lead, so I've climbed with nothing but a belay biner and belay device on it all the way to fully loaded down with trad gear, and it performs well in every situation. My only beef with it is that the waistbelt strap slips in the auto double-back buckle, but only by mm's, nothing to get worked up over. A great harness that I would not hesitate to buy again.

"The most comfortable out there, totally worth the extra money!" 		          03/11/09
do you really want to be cheap with something you sit in for hours every day? that is saving your life? i didnt think so. i had the arcteryx isis harness for years, i thought it was the most comfortable out there, so i was heartbroken when they discontinued it. thankfully, they did come out with something even better! this is so comfortable to sit in i actually want my partner to fall. only downside is that i feel like the fabric is not as breathable as the older model. but otherwise dont be deceived by its thinness, something about it distributes your weight evenly and comfortably. this harness is totally worth the extra money!

First off, I'm a guy. The guys model didn't fit me right, but this one was right on. This is a great harness, especially if you plan on long approaches for long climbs where weight and comfort count.

This harness is worth every penny. Not only is it super strong and super lightweight, but it fits me perfectly. The unique gear loops make for easy access to cams and draws too!
