The Arc'Teryx Women's R260 LT Harness is a breathable harness for sport climbing. Vapor mesh leg loops with elastic for adjusting for fit are where it's at on a hot summer's climb deep in the Red Rocks. Coupled with Warp Strength Technology, the waist belt is super thin and sleek, effectively spreading weight over a larger surface area for plenty of comfort. The result is a harness that comes in at only 9.3 ounces, so you can spend all day climbing, without getting dragged down. Cool off, grab a drink of water, and get back at it.

So sad this harness is retiringI love how lightweight and comfortable this harness is. There is no bulky "extra stuff" getting in the way while I am climbing, standing around in the gym or hiking from one crag to the next. It is lightweight yet I feel totally secure if I fall. I was concerned there might not be enough padding, but if you aren't hanging out all day, it is really comfortable, even if you need to take a break (if you're out of shape, like I am after a long winter.) I've been using this harness indoors and outdoors. I sometimes forget to take it off at the end of my climbing session because I forget it is on!

Minimal and breathableThis harness is bomber. Super breathable, doesn't feel like you have a harness on, and solid construction. While sport climbing, your movement is not restricted at all. It almost felt like I was free climbing until I took a fall! Even then it's comfy to fall in and I immediately felt the waist belt start to form to my shape the first time out. I also really like that you don't have to fuss with buckles on the leg loops. Huge upgrade from the first harness I bought. Bottom line: excellent harness that's totally worth the money.

Lightweight, comfortable, well-madeThis my first harness, and I couldn't be happier with it. It's very lightweight and breathable. The waist belt is especially comfortable and the buckles are so easy to adjust. The extra gear loops are also so useful. Although I've only had this for a few weeks, it seems so well-constructed that I think it will hold up for some time. Plus, it has safety features that let you know when the material is worn out.

Not. What I expectedMy previous climbing harness was an Arcteryx, which I had for several years. So being brand loyal was sticking with the company but to my chagrin was quite unhappy with the harness I chose . It is paperthin lightweight. The leg straps were quite uncomfortable and one could not adjust them . The straps were also about an inch in width which seemed quite uncomfortable .

I hardly notice it's on...except when I need it. Which is exactly how it should be.
