The Arc'Teryx Women's Phase SV Bottom is a cold weather base layer for moisture management during active adventures. From base camp to summit, you've gotta stay warm and every time you take a step, you'll be exerting energy that creates sweat. No problem for the wicking powers of Phasic™ AR and SV fabrics. Moisture gets pulled off the skin, the bottoms dry quickly, and you'll be none the wiser as you focus on the expedition to the summit of Mount-something. The soft-brushed waistband stays comfortable against the hips and stomach, even under all those layers you'll need to stay toasty and dry in some of the worst weather you've ever seen. Shaped appropriately from waist to ankle with a gusseted crotch, movements will remain natural for the whole trip.

Arc'teryx Phasic SV
Arc'teryx Phasic is an innovative technology engineered for baselayers. It pulls moisture off of your skin and disperses it over a wider surface area, allowing for faster dry times. Phasic SV fabrics are utilized in moderate weight layers that excel in cold weather aerobic activities. The SV stands for Severe. Knowledge is power.

Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.
Dress Length - Measuring the front of the garment from the neckline at shoulder to the hem edge.
Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.

FIT TYPE INFO and DETAILS:
Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.
Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.
Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.
Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.
Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.
• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

Hardcore girl from
Nice lengthBought the phase sv for my ski trip last week to mammoth. Did get a little cold during a spring snow storm. This is why I wanted to test the sv before going to Colorado next year. I am new to the shell ski outfits and the layering process. Not new to skiing as I have skied for over 30 years. I am 5'10" 150 lbs long legs , I need products that will fit a tall thin frame. Length was ok but the ankles were too loose. Need to be more fitted because they bunched inside the boots. I just pulled them up like a crop length. Also need to be longer in the crotch for us tall .

Very comfortableThey wear a little low but would be fine if a top is tucked in. They are very light and packable. I'm not sure how they will perform on the slopes, I did buy them to wear under my merino wool. I'm 5' 1" 114 and bought a size small, they fit tight at first and really loosened up after worn for a bit. I'm not sure if I like them especially when compared to smartwool. I do like how light they are and will really like them if they can stand up to severe cold.
