"Arcteryx does not disappoint!" 10/07/12

I'm kind of falling in love with Arcteryx products. The fit is always great and the fabric never bunches or rubs the wrong way. These pants perform great on long hikes with lots of climbing involved. The fabric stretches without losing shape and the pockets are able without being baggy. I can also wear these around town without looking like I am wearing hiking pants to run errands. I'm not hiking every week so it's good to get double-duty out of these pants. The sizing is pretty true...I wear an 8 in Arcteryx shorts but got these in a 10 (for some reason). They still fit fine, but the integrated belt helps take in the waist. All around, great pants!

"Fit, style and functionality - excellent" 08/17/11

I bought a pair of these when I was in Europe this summer, and they turned out to be perfect. Have been looking all over the web, so I can stock up before they are discontinued. Made with a very durable, yet light weight, highly breathable, slightly stretchy and quick dry fabric -- really, it sounds to good to be true, but these pants seem to have it all. (though they might be a little lightweight for serious cold weather wear). I know -- it seems to good to be true, but for me they are the perfect pants, which is why I am willing to pay the outrageous price. I figure I won't have to buy again for 5 years or so.

"comfy and stylish" 01/23/10

Since receiving these pants, I've used them for everything from hiking to working (and even gotten compliments). They are more pricey than most hiking pants, but if you have the money on hand, go for it.The pockets are deep and large - plenty of room to carry what you'd like. The cinch belt keeps the pants snug for more active motion. The only downside is windy or cold days. If planning to wear them in the winter, I'd recommend at least one layer underneath, if not another on top. The material is comfy and moves nicely, but I did have some issues with my powdered detergent creating temporary stains on the pants that had to be manually washed out or go through the washer w/o soap.

"Fantastic Pants" 12/30/09

Comfortable, light, great cinch belt. The six is a perfect size for someone 5'5 and 130 lbs. Can't wait to wear them out in the backcountry!

What can I say? These are the perfect pants for city walking, country hiking, and travel. They're so lightweight that you can rinse them at night and wear them daily.

"A must for traveling!" 06/04/07

My favorite pant!! Dries in a few hrs, light, sooo comfy & can hold so many valuables in it's 4 secured pockets! I own 6 of them!! The workmanship is also very high quality.

"i want another pair" 04/24/07

awesome pants for any adventure - i just wore them rappelling down a 80' waterfall and they dried fast even on a cool day - also great to wear on casual days
