"Maybe in moderate temperature" 11/14/11

I live in VT. It's cold here. Really cold. This is thin. Really thin. It's been almost 8 years since I've updated my Arcteryx softshell, and looks like I'll be sticking with what I have.

"Another excellent Arc'teryx kacket!" 11/07/11

I bought this jacket a few months back for a trip to Munich/UK this autumn and I was blown away by how well it worked! It's stylish, functional (LOVED the chest pocket and used it daily!), wicks moisture well, looks good (I received a ton of compliments about the bright blue colour), and does an excelle tjob of keeping the wind out. As others have mentioned, it's not 100% wind-proof, but if you're wearing a decent base-layer or fleece underneath you'll be fine. It ran a bit big for me, but again, it's fine if you intend to layer. Love this jacket!

"Another excellent Arc'teryx jacket!" 11/07/11

I bought this jacket a few weeks ago for a trip to Munich/UK (their autumn, so the weather was cold and windy), and was blown away by how well it worked! It weighs barely anything, is super comfy, wicks moisture well, looks fantastic (the bright blue received a lot of compliments!), and did an excellent job at keeping the wind out. As people have mentioned, it's not 100% wind-proof, but if you're wearing a decent base layer or a fleece underneath you won't notice the difference. Very pleased with my purchase!

"Amazing, Need More" 12/19/10

I loooove this jacket. I got it a few years and wear it all the time whenever it gets chilly. Not 100% windproof, but as a softshell, does an amazing job. It keeps me extremely warm. Water droplets just sit on the surface without soaking in (although this changes slightly over time, as with any DWR product). It also looks great. Flattering fit, but enough room for movement. I did wear it building rockets one day though, and lemme tell ya, the epoxy doesn't come off. So watch out for stains. It's also thin and light but very comfortable. I'm looking to get another. :)
