The Women's Fission SV Jacket by Arcteryx is insulated and fully waterproof, making it the warmest Gore-Tex Pro Shell jacket. Constructed with non-quilted Primaloft Sport insulation, this cold and wet weather fortress provides maximum warmth and storm protection. Featuring an insulated Drop Hood, a longer cut for increased coverage, and reinforced fabric on all high wear areas. Gender specific anatomical patterning. ARC'TERYX MEASUREMENT and FIT GUIDE
HOW to MEASURE:
Chest / Bust - Measure around your chest / bust, holding the measuring tape under your armpit.
Waist - Measure around the natural waist, which is often the narrowest part of your waist.
Hip - Measure around your hips at the widest part.
Sleeve Length - With your arms in a slightly bent postion, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.
Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.
Dress Length - Measuring the front of the garment from the neckline at shoulder to the hem edge.
Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.
Hand Length - Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of the palm.
Hand Width - Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.
• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.
FIT TYPE INFO and DETAILS:
Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.
Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.
Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.
Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.
Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.
• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

AwesomeBought this for my wife, who is always cold, doesn't matter if she wore 6 layers was still cold. That was until i bought this jacket for her. She layers it with an ATOM LT Hoody and has been toasty warm since then. The quality of Arc'teryx is second to none, stitching is immaculate as well as craftsmanship. If you are looking for a a insualted Gore-Tex jacket then this is the one to get. It weighs almost nothing, super warm, allows you to move around in it without being constrained, and its Arc'teryx, you just can't go wrong. The price is on the high side, but the trade-off is worth every penny. FYI, this jacket is now made in China.

Worth the money!I bought this for myself. I'll be moving to a much colder climate. I also have Fibromyalgia so I can't wear heavy jackets because it wears me out faster. I read the reviews on this jacket and thought 'well, I can always return it.' I'm definitely keeping this! It is so lightweight it's mind boggling. It's comfortable and stylish. I'm 5'8" and weigh 135. I ordered a large and it fit me fine. I have very long arms and it still fit my arms well. The workmanship and details are exceptional. It keeps me very warm. I can wear it for all different types of weather, which I love. I've never spent this much on a winter jacket but I'm so glad I did this time.

Great jacket for very cold weather, watch the sizing.I purchased this jacket to travel around Finland and the Baltic in January/February ( down to -20 degrees C) and found it to be very effective at keeping out the cold wind and sideways snow. The lining of the jacket and pockets is soft and warm and the entire thing can be compressed into a very neat package. I was quite happy in this jacket with 2 or 3 thermal and fleece layers underneath. ,,Like most Arcteryx products, this jacket is short and wide. I am 5'10 and 140lb and ended up with a small as the medium was WAY to wide. The small was a much better fit but i found it just a bit too short to be absolutely perfect. If you are any taller than me you may want to consider another brand.

Wonderful, stylish, amzing jacket!!!!!!!!!! 5 stars :)I bought this coat for myself and I love it. It is great for skiing, snowboarding, and just being outside in the winter months. It is really great because it is so warm and is a really good wind breaker. So if you live in a windy or cold area, I would definately recommend this jacket. The contrasting colors are really great. I bought mine last year and still continue to love it. Great for anyone espically 20-40 year olds. Great preformance and great sylish looks. Great buy :)

not enough bells and whistles, but wicked warm. This jacket is very minimalistic. i didn't realize that it had no media pocket as i like to listen to my jams on the slopes. I got the medium, and the selves were at an awkward length on my wrist... i guess i like my selves a bit longer. But when i put this jacket on i could feel the warmth instantly. If i had kept this jacket i know i would have been warm and content on the mountain. I exchanged for a jacket with more pockets and vents.

my girlfriend loves this jacket (but the white stains easily)I bought this jacket for an xmas present for my girlfriend and she loves it. It's kept her warm through a New York City winter (down to perhaps 15F), along with several sessions up to the ski slopes in New England. ,,,,This jacket is warmer than the Fission SL (which I bought for myself), and has a softer interior. Both are completely wind and waterproof.,,,,I'd definitely by this again (but would go for a color other than white)

Mom loves it!The past couple of weeks I have been trying to get my parents to accept that their designer crap doesn't work our in the elements. I finally made my mom a believer with this Jacket. For as long as I can remember she has complained about being cold and after about a minute after putting it on she said that she was never going to take it off. Thank you Arcteryx and Moosejaw for showing my mom how real clothes are supposed to perform!

Girlfriend is finally not coldGot this for my lady for Christmas and she loves it. Whether it is 15 or 50 she wears it as she can get cold easily and so far it hasn't disappointed in the least. It is a bit noisy, but that's the nature or the Gore-Tex, so nothing to be done about it but just recall it is weather proof and that's the mild price one pays for that comfort. Now if they would just make a pair of jeans for every day use...
