The best jacket ive owned! Best feature is the movablity of the upper body :) Not the most wind proof jacket but keeps the light sprinkle off my head and my back...Did i mention it's super cute? Sizing is right on.
"A great city-country softshell with style and quality!"
I bought my Epsilon SV Hoody about 3 weeks ago for spring, and it is awesome! If you have reasonable expectations for what a softshell will do for you, then you will not be disappointed. It is wind resistant, light rain beads off the fabric, and it looks hella good. I have it in black, and it is very flattering. Layer a reflective shell over it for cycling, or a waterproof shell for bad weather, and it will keep you cozy and comfortable. I have noticed that any moisture from working out in it dissipates quickly, it is hard-wearing, and sheds dirt. Highly recommend this jacket!
"cute for hanging out, bad for hardcore weather"
I tested it bike riding on a cool day. The jacket is good for aerobic activity, it definitely kept me from overheating, but I was disappointed in how little wind it blocked. Granted, there's a lot of wind when you bicycle. On the other hand, if I weren't producing a lot of heat, I think it might not have kept me warm. Overall, I'd suggest it as the jacket you could use if expecting varied weather conditions, but I wouldn't plan on using it alone in chilly or windy weather.
"Absolutely get it, you'll be glad you did!"
My boyfriend bought this jacket for me as a birthday present and it is amazing! It is a fitted jacket and keeps the wind out. The fleece lining is soft and I was warm wearing just a t-shirt when it was 35 out. The water just beaded off the outer shell, although it was just raining lightly. If the weather drops any more I'll probably need to put on a few thin layers underneath to stay warm. You won't be able to but a thick fleece underneath, but that's probably not what this jacket was designed for!
