ARC'TERYX MEASUREMENT and FIT GUIDE
HOW to MEASURE:
Chest / Bust - Measure around your chest / bust, holding the measuring tape under your armpit.
Waist - Measure around the natural waist, which is often the narrowest part of your waist.
Hip - Measure around your hips at the widest part.
Sleeve Length - With your arms in a slightly bent postion, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.
Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.
Dress Length - Measuring the front of the garment from the neckline at shoulder to the hem edge.
Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.
Hand Length - Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of the palm.
Hand Width - Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.
• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.
FIT TYPE INFO and DETAILS:
Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.
Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.
Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.
Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.
Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.
• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

Perfect Lightweight, Travel Friendly JacketI've been wanting a lightweight travel friendly jacket to wear under my Arcteryx shell as an alternative to fleece and this jacket is perfect for my needs. It's also works great alone for casual wear in cool weather and I've actually been wearing it more alone than under the shell so far. It rolls into a small ball for packing, making it great for travel. I purchased the silver grey color with light green zips and it's very neutral and flattering. I'm 5'3", about 110 and my usual Arcteryx size small fits me well. Sleeves are a little long which is always the case for me but they are fairly snug around the wrists so don't hang down onto my hands and I can roll them under if needed. Thinking about buying another in the white with black trim because it's such a fab, versatile jacket at a great price.

Great!I have been wearing for a couple of days in a casual basis, however I intend to wear it for skiing in New Zealand in the coming August. The colour is light greg with a bright green zip which is fashionable. The material is super soft and insulation is light and warm. The shape is quite fit for me, I am 168cm/51kg and size S is perfectly fit for me and I can still wear light to medium base layer inside. It is a great product!

Great non winter coatPerfect for the fall, but not the winter. The wind cuts right through it. The wrist and lower arm area is tapered so a bit tight if you have a sweatshirt on under it. A tee is fine. I have the green and the color is great. I use it for walking the dog in fall or mountain biking. Had hoped I could wear it on the not so cold winter days but the sleeves don't allow for much extra space.

Warm and stylishLove this jacket for everyday use and rock climbing on a cold day. I have the atom as well but I find this jackets fit is tighter and isn't as easy to layer underneath. It is more fitted than the atom and looks a little nicer on. It is also warmer than the atom. Works well even if it rains, the water resistance has held up so far.

Nice Looking JacketNormally I LOVE Arcteryx and at the sale price, I thought I'd give this jacket a try. It is a little short for my long torso, but the worst part is the sleeves narrowed at the wrist to a non-tolerable width. Maybe I have fat wrists?? Anyway, I must return and will try a stretchier version of Arcteryx.

Light weight durable jacketI bought this jacket about a month ago and have not really tried it out, because of the warm weather. However, my previous experience with Arcteryx products has been positive. It is light as advertised and snug fit is part of the mechanism to retain heat.

great mid layer!I bought this jacket for my backpacking trip to Canada last December. It is lightweight, insulated, compact, wind-resistant, and water-repellent. I used this jacket as an outer layer and it kept me warm, cool, and dry for the entire trip.
