The Women's Cerium LT Hoody is a new insulating layer from Arc'teryx which utilizes a mixture of strategically mapped 850 fill down and Coreloft™ synthetic insulations to keep you warm as efficiently as possible. The goose down is stuffed in the torso and arms to warm your core, and the synthetic insulation is placed in moisture-prone areas (hem, collar, sleeves and underarms). It's the best of both worlds: compressibility and versatility. The Cerium LT layers perfectly under a shell or on its own in cool, dry conditions. Wear it to the zoo and you'll turn some heads (animal heads.. they know good insulation when they see it).

Waist - Measure around the natural waist, which is often the narrowest part of your waist.
Hip - Measure around your hips at the widest part.
Sleeve Length - With your arms in a slightly bent postion, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.
Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.
Dress Length - Measuring the front of the garment from the neckline at shoulder to the hem edge.
Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.
Hand Length - Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of the palm.
Hand Width - Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.
• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.
FIT TYPE INFO and DETAILS:
Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.
Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.
Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.
Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.
Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.
• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

I love this jacket!!This jacket is lightweight but keeps you warm and it looks great- that pretty much sums it up. On the negative side, I am pretty aggressive with my gear and while belaying a piece of the jacket got caught in my belay device and tore a hole in it. I sent it off to arcteryx and they fixed it right away- it looked like nothing happened...Then I shoved it in my pack with my cams, and another hole tore in the "bag" that you can fold up the jacket into. Called arcteryx again and they are shipping me a new one- unfortunately they do not have the same color (how do you run out of black??) Anyway, you will love this jacket and should buy it regardless of its somewhat easy tearing ability because it looks awesome.

I recommend this product.I have this jacket in Nighthawk and it is gorgeous. It also fits really well. Normally, my puffy jackets are a little short in the sleeve, but this one is just right. When belaying, I put my hood up over my helmet and I am a picture of happy warmth. It also stuffs down into an itty bitty little stuff sack and it is crazy light. Can't think of a single negative thing to say about it.,,

Love it - keeps me warm while keeping me looking good!I've been searching high and low for a down hoody that's warm but didn't overpower me. The blue color is amazing and it's so warm for being light-weight. I was debating between this color and the sea glass, and ended up going with the blue. The hood is comfy and the sleeves can cover my hands if needed - perfect lightweight down hoody.

Super warmI just had the chance to use my newly purchased jacket and it didn't disappoint. Up in the mountains at about 10,000 feet and it performed well. With the hood on and zipped up all the way it was incredibly warm. I would be nice to have a cinch hood but it's not a deal breaker

The Perfect Down JacketI waited for a very long time to purchase this jacket and I am so glad I did. Overall, it is a fantastic winter jacket. I am 5'8'' with a thin build and I purchased the medium. It is roomie enough to fit another thick layer (sweater, hoodie, etc) comfortably underneath, but also doesn't make me look like a marshmallow. I am constantly cold. As soon as the temperature hits about 40 degrees Fahrenheit, it is really difficult for me to get warm. This jacket is my new winter jacket to get me through the sub-zero temperature we have been having in Chicago. With layers underneath, I am able to stay at a comfortable temperature.,,,,One thing that I absolutely love about the jacket is it's ability to fit in the small stuff sack that comes with the product. The only complaints I have are 1) The lack of interior pockets inside the jacket (there are none) and 2) It would be nice if the jacket could cinch at the bottom because it tends to ride up in the back. Overall, I love the Cerium LT Hoody.

One of the Best lightweight Down jackets ever! This product exceeded my expectations of a packable down jacket. It does not "leak" feathers like so many of the other brands and the fit is great. It is a slim fit jacket, but does give you a nice shape, and is very attractive. Nighthawk color is beautiful!

Best coat I've ever had. This coat was the best decision I could have made before last winter's polar vortex. Wear it under a light windbreaker and you will never be cold again. Most likely. I can't wait for the weather to be cold again just so I can wear it all of the time.
Thanks for the question. The Cerium's outer material contains a DWR finish to help repel water, which will cause water to bead and roll of the jacket in a light rain or snow. This would not stand up to heavier, wetter conditions though, such as a heavy rain or a blizzard. In those conditions you would have to wear this jacket with a waterproof outer shell.
