ARC'TERYX MEASUREMENT and FIT GUIDE
HOW to MEASURE:
Chest / Bust - Measure around your chest / bust, holding the measuring tape under your armpit.
Waist - Measure around the natural waist, which is often the narrowest part of your waist.
Hip - Measure around your hips at the widest part.
Sleeve Length - With your arms in a slightly bent postion, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.
Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.
Dress Length - Measuring the front of the garment from the neckline at shoulder to the hem edge.
Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.
Hand Length - Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of the palm.
Hand Width - Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.
• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.
FIT TYPE INFO and DETAILS:
Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.
Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.
Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.
Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.
Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.
• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

Great 3 Season Arcteryx in your Regular Size...Or consider ordering a size up to make it 4 season. I was looking for a lightweight, breathable shell I could wear alone in spring/summer and layered into the fall/winter. I wanted this for hiking the Annuapurna, snowboarding in CO, and all-around general wear. I usually wear an S in Arcteryx gear and went for that first. With my Atom LT underneath and any range of baselayers I have a bit of restriction across the chest. That being said, I'm a pretty busty girl (5'3'', 115 lbs, 32D). One thing to note is that the Beta LT and Hybrid LT are 'trim fit' jackets. This means that while I can wear a mid-weight base layer and a thin mid layer (the Atom LT is my favorite) under the Beta LT, I don't think I could fit an additional mid layer or a thick down layer. I did look at the Beta AR (for the roomier 'athletic fit') but felt like the added bulk (from heavier gore, pit zips, etc.) wasn't worth the weight or price tag. I'm now reconsidering my decision because that extra room would rock.

breathable coatVery breathable coat. Period. My wife had it for couple months right now, with northwest early cold and strong wind, this coat is really a must have equipment. It's light-weight, waterproof, but very breathable. When my wife had it, we compared to some other brands, such as NorthFace, colombia, etc, they are more affortable on the price, true, but with the waterpoof feature, they are not breathable as this one. My wife is picky on clothes with waterproof feature. She doesn't like the feeling to have a rain coat to put on and all the moisture is trapped inside of the coat. I'm not judging which one is better or worse. Pick the one suit you most and you are willing to pay. All in all, if the price is not a problem, try this one. It won't fail you.

Doing a rain dance so I can wear this more!I bought this a few weeks ago, just in time for Seattle's (typical) start of the rainy season. The only thing I'm mad about is that we haven't gotten the normal amount of rain! This jacket is lightweight, breathable, and completely waterproof. In previous years, I had always suffered through the typical muggy-ness that happens inside a rain jacket; I didn't realize there were other options! Also, the color is fab. I've been wearing it (rain or not) a bunch and I get compliments every.single.time.

Fantastic jacket!Great jacket! Super light weight. I ended up returning it because the trim fit while flattering would only allow for one layer below it. I needed something that could handle a couple of layers, so went for the Beta AR instead. Still I was really impressed with the quality!

Incredible Emergency ShellThis jacket has been with me on countless backpacking trips and it never lets me down. Super light, and also very waterproof. The price is a little steep, but I would recommend this jacket regardless.
