The Arc’teryx Women’s Beta LT Hybrid Jacket is a waterproof jacket for long hikes in the backcountry. The Beta LT Hybrid is lightweight and packs down small so it won’t weigh down your load or take up too much space. The combination of Gore-Tex 3L and Gore-Tex PacLite fabric provides a durable water and windproof layer that keeps you dry and comfortable as you explore the trail. A durable water repellent finish helps prevent soaking in by beading up water on the fabric surface. The DropHood is helmet compatible and adjustable to allow for peripheral vision, when not in use, it pushes out of the way while still allowing the collar to stand tall when fully zipped. The large pit zips open wide to release excess heat when the hard rain won’t quit in warmer temperatures. Two zippered pockets are lifted up and out of the way of your hipbelt or harness so you can still use them to store your hat or gloves. All zippers on the jacket are WaterTight, giving them a high water resistance (not suitable for electronics, but great for an extra pair of gloves). The Beta tackles the weather, so you can tackle the trail.
Products on Sale are Discontinued Styles or Colors.

Type of Waterproofing:
GORE-TEX Paclite is the gold standard for lightweight, breathable elemental protection. Paclite jackets are extremely packable and great to have on hand for windy or rainy conditions. It's like wearing an umbrella, but probably 25x more comfortable. Plus you won't get questions like, "Are you wearing an umbrella?" or, "Why are you wearing an umbrella?"
If you haven't heard of GORE-TEX by now, you've probably been living under a rock. And that would make sense, because living under a rock is probably the only place where you wouldn't need the durable waterproof and windproof protection that GORE-TEX fabrics offer. So when you're ready to venture out from under your rock, arm yourself with the comfortable protection of GORE-TEX.

Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.
Dress Length - Measuring the front of the garment from the neckline at shoulder to the hem edge.
Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.

FIT TYPE INFO and DETAILS:
Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.
Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.
Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.
Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.
Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.
• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

great jacket with one little flaw - the chin guard does not prottect the chin enoughI bought this jacket for x-mass for my wife and she is very happy with it. She looks super-sexy in it and doesn't get wet even after hiking for hours in rain. The arm-pit zippers keep her temperature well regulated, and it is small enough to pack it into the backpack as an emergency rain protection. The only complaint she has is, that the microfleece around the chin is not covering the zipper well enough and scratches here lovely chin...it would help if the fleece would be a bit higher and wrap the zipper also from the top - maybe a design upgrade arcteryx could incorporate in the next version?
