The Arc’teryx Women’s Beta AR Glove is an all-around glove for alpine activities. The anatomical shape of the glove is in a comfortable, relaxed position, ready to grip your ice axes. The Gore-Tex 3L is durable and keeps you dry while the inner fleece keeps you warm. The inner fleece is removable, super handy for drying and/or washing. Leather reinforced palm is nice and sturdy and provides a sleek look back at the lodge. The short gauntlet fits over or under your jacket, whichever suits your preference while making the climb.

Polartec Wind Pro
The lightweight warmth of Polartec Wind Pro allows it to function as both a high performance outer layer, or a comfy insulating layer. Its resistance to wind and water further increases the versatility. All of that in a durable package. You'll love it as much as a human can or should love a fabric.
GORE-TEX Pro material offers maximized ruggedness and is ideal for extreme and extended use, like mountaineering, climbing or skiing. Super durable, super waterproof, super windproof. Its only weakness might be Kryptonite.
If you haven't heard of GORE-TEX by now, you've probably been living under a rock. And that would make sense, because living under a rock is probably the only place where you wouldn't need the durable waterproof and windproof protection that GORE-TEX fabrics offer. So when you're ready to venture out from under your rock, arm yourself with the comfortable protection of GORE-TEX.

Waist - Measure around the natural waist, which is often the narrowest part of your waist.
Hip - Measure around your hips at the widest part.
Sleeve Length - With your arms in a slightly bent postion, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.
Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.
Dress Length - Measuring the front of the garment from the neckline at shoulder to the hem edge.
Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.
Hand Length - Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of the palm.
Hand Width - Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.
• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.
FIT TYPE INFO and DETAILS:
Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.
Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.
Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.
Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.
Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.
• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

Too bulky; not enough agility for small handsI'm size "small" in gloves (6.8" hand circumference) and I found these dismayingly roomy at the fingertips. I was looking for warm, waterproof gloves that fit like a second skin and, although a self-confessed cheapskate, I was willing to pony up for such a magical product. The Beta Glove is not it. These are certainly waterproof, and not too hot, which I liked (because, during intense cross-country skiing, I get so hot I often have to take my gloves right off -- which, in the long run, causes the skin on my fingertips to crack; hence my search for the perfect hand coverage). They are also the right length for stuff like winter biking and general winter sports activity. Regardless, my hands felt clumsily clad, and I still wanted to peel them off in order to unlock my car and get the keys in the ignition, for example. To summarize: good fabric -- product as advertised. But poor fit for small hands. So I returned them.
