Product Description Item No.   10220007

The Arc'teryx Women's Atom SV Hoody is made of more atoms than any other jacket. I counted. This is a super warm mid-layer stuffed with Coreloft™ synthetic insulation which is highly compressible and retains warmth even when wet. The outer material is Gossamera™ nylon with DWR (durable water repellent) coating so this baby can stand up to some precipitation on its own. I'm not a scientist, but here's my advice: when it gets cold and you don't want to be cold it never hurts to put on more atoms. Specifically the warm atoms in the Arc'teryx Atom SV Hoody.

FEATURES of the Arcteryx Women's Atom SV Hoody

  • Light, durable and wind resistant face fabric withstands abrasion and wear while DWR finish repels moisture
  • Warm and resilient synthetic 100 g /m2 Coreloft insulation
  • Insulated StormHood
  • Two hand pockets with zippers, internal chest pocket with zipper
  • Jersey knit stretch cuffs fit comfortably over hands

ARC'TERYX MEASUREMENT and FIT GUIDE

HOW to MEASURE:

Chest / Bust - Measure around your chest / bust, holding the measuring tape under your armpit.

Waist - Measure around the natural waist, which is often the narrowest part of your waist.

Hip - Measure around your hips at the widest part.

Sleeve Length - With your arms in a slightly bent postion, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.

Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.

Dress Length - Measuring the front of the garment from the neckline at shoulder to the hem edge.

Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.

Hand Length - Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of the palm.

Hand Width - Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.

• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.

FIT TYPE INFO and DETAILS:

Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.

Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.

Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.

Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.

Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.

• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and warm! I love this jacket. It's very light weight but incredibly warm. Keeps me warm down to 32F with a long sleeve cotton tee underneath. With a wool sweater or fleece, it keeps me warm into the teens. I love that the back is slightly longer. The hood fits well. It keeps me dry in light rain. Overall a terrific jacket. The blackberry color is flattering and a nice change from black. For reference, I'm 5'5, 130 lbs and the small fits nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Midlayer for Brutal Days I love this jacket for wearing by itself on cold days and it is the perfect midlayer for wearing underneath a parka on brutal windy winter days when I have to be out in the elements for extended periods. I love everything about the construction of this jacket--articulated sleeves, lycra wrist cuffs, insulated hood. Its a 10!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME JACKET So I've been debating about purchasing this jacket for probably over a year...But since the weather declined once again, I finally decided to go for it (also the XS in the viridian color was becoming very limited), and I couldn't be more happier with my purchase! I wore this jacket on a relatively short hike, roughly around 20 degrees outside, and with just one layer underneath, I was roasty toasty! It was lightly snowing up on the mountain as well, but just pop on the hood of this jacket and I was still warm. I was actually very surprised by how warm it kept me, especially because the insulation isn't down feather (what I'm actually used to). But I think I would have been sweating if I did wear one of my down jackets. I am roughly 5'0" and the slightly longer back length than front of this jacket is just perfect on me. The arms are wider than that of the LT atom hoody, which I thought was fine since there's more room for layering, if needed. Overall, great buy all-around!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not fashionable according to my wife...... I bought this for myself and for my wife. I absolutely love it but my wife returned hers because it was not stylish enough......I think it is awesome for guys but of course, I can't say the same thing for females. The jacket is light weight, warm, cool looking, what more can I ask for? 5 star from me!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect for weekend backpacking Lightweight, very warm, feels cozy too. Allows ease of movement better than other, similar jackets I tried. Not very feminine (big shoulders, not as flattering as others I tried) but it is fitted, athletic cut. I'm normally a medium (7-8) and the small fits perfectly.
