ARC'TERYX MEASUREMENT and FIT GUIDE
HOW to MEASURE:
Chest / Bust - Measure around your chest / bust, holding the measuring tape under your armpit.
Waist - Measure around the natural waist, which is often the narrowest part of your waist.
Hip - Measure around your hips at the widest part.
Sleeve Length - With your arms in a slightly bent postion, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.
Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.
Dress Length - Measuring the front of the garment from the neckline at shoulder to the hem edge.
Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.
Hand Length - Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of the palm.
Hand Width - Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.
• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.
FIT TYPE INFO and DETAILS:
Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.
Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.
Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.
Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.
Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.
• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

Possibly the best gift EVERJust bought this as a Christmas present for my mom after she saw my Atom LT and wanted one for herself. I think my mom was happier getting this jacket than hearing that I got into Harvard, and remember, she's Asian. Many thanks to Moosejaw for the free overnight shipping. My mom loves how lightweight the jacket is and how it seems to be so accommodating to any climate, whether its outside hiking or indoors lounging. Being a little older of age, she appreciates having such a nice layer to wear indoors, especially since she hates turning on the heater. The jacket is also very resistant to wind and the coating on the fabric shed water somewhat well.

BEST JACKET EVERI just got this jacket for my Nordic skiing adventures and have been very impressed so far. It is light and flexible, so very easy to move in as well as being incredibly breathable. It will also keep you comfortably warm on any weather. I have also been hiking in this jacket and recently toured warm-weather New Orleans in it. I was surprised at how adaptable it was to a variety of weather. It rained a few days on my trip and I was so happy to find out that water beads up and rolls right off!! Incredible! If you do a variety of outdoor sports, I seriously recommend this jacket. I'm even going to use it down hill skiing. Buy it!!!!

I would marry this jacketSeriously, I would. This jacket is so awesome, you need to get it. Not only is it super lightweight, IT IS SUPER WARM! I got this for my hike on the Appalachian Trail and while I haven't hit the trail just yet, I have worn it plenty. The fit is accurate, it is warm within seconds of putting it on, unlike some fabrics that take a little while to warm up. Great hood, I like the lining in the pockets and the tightness around the wrists. You cant put too much in the pockets without it starting to feel bulky, but thats ok with me. I like to travel light anyway. If you happen to get caught in the rain, it will keep you dry and the rain will roll right off.

works well by itself and as an insulating layer under a shell--breathable, weightless, attractiveI wore this during a 6 day Cascades trip and up Mt Baker. Great temp. regulation: when I was active it felt like I was wearing nothing (in a good way: very breathable), and it kept me warm when I was sitting at camp watching the sun set. Climbing Baker, I wore this over a light base layer and under my soft and hard shell jackets (though the hard shell wasn't on long). It kept me warm during the dark and Cold parts of the morning, and didn't get hot or sticky as the climb progressed. I'm getting another as a back-up, since I live in this one now (I slept in it several times, too). It's very attractive and a great bang for your buck.

Excellent JacketJust got this jacket for Christmas (it was at the top of my list...) and I love it! I went skiing in it today and on the way up to the lift my dad asked "Don't you have anything warmer? That doesn't look for insulating." Wrong! I wore it under my (also arcteryx) softshell jacket and was warm and cozy all day long. It was a warm ski day (upper 20s or so) and I tend to run cold, so I was really impressed that it was enough even on the lifts. And it wasn't even too hot in the car with the heat on! Magic.,,I'm 5'7" and 120 lb, and the small size fits perfectly. It's the right length and the wrists aren't too tight. Highly recommended!

Not the warmestThere's always a moment of apprehension when you receive clothing ordered online and are unwrapping it to see if expectation meets reality. When I received this jacket, I was impressed by the feel and look of it, but disappointed that it isn't a bit warmer. It probably won't keep you warm sitting in camp high in the mountains, but is a perfect layer for high-energy activities in cooler weather, eg. fall/winter running, skiing, etc. The jacket gets top marks for its lightweight design and thoughtful features, but if you want something truly cozy but still lightweight, go for one of the many available "down sweater"- like products.

My favorite jacket by far!!I LOVE my Atom LT. I've had so many friends ask me about it and compliment me on it. It's perfect for almost any type of weather: wear it as is in the 30*-50*f range and anything colder, throw on a nice sweater underneath and you're good to go! This jacket packs down nice for backpacking, yet it will keep you pretty warm! Its pretty water resistant, but I wouldnt use it as your main source of water resistance. It's also great if you're a cyclist- it is fitted and is very aerodynamic. Not going to lie though, my it is perfect for climbing. It's flexible and light weight so it's a great jacket to take to the crag.

Warm, packable, & looks greatIt's perfect for chilly San Francisco mornings and nights. It keeps me warm for how light and thin it is, and I get a lot of compliments on the chartreuse color. I'm 5'8" / 135 and the small and medium both fit well. The small is perfectly snug and fits underneath other layers, whereas the medium allows me to wear a sweater or hoodie underneath. The lowest temp in which I've worn it so far was about 40 F, and I was wearing only a t-shirt underneath; I found I was a bit chilly if I was just standing still (albeit I'm usually cold all of the time), but as soon as I started walking / moving I warmed up right away.
